"This is a cracking flat within a short walk of Dumfries town centre. From the outside, the flats don’t look too inspiring, but it’s clearly been renovated recently and it’s been done really nicely. The two rooms are pretty much identical doubles, and the living room/kitchen is a good size. Nice views of the river from most rooms, and a lovely small balcony coming off the main living area. Would definitely come back if in the area."

The restaurant, coffee shop and breakfast room mentioned in the right up were all part of the motorway services. Costa was good for breakfast. The breakfast room food was cold and awful especially trying to eat it with a wooden knife and fork."

Only minor downside was that the gentleman who booked me in said it was room only, whereas when I booked through hotels.com it said free breakfast. I should have queried it with him, but I let it slide as everything else was perfect. Maybe the owner needs to check the advertisement on hotels.com? Otherwise, couldn't recommend enough. I would happily stay again on my next visit."

Didn't bother with breakfast but was offered an earlier breakfast if required. Different room to last week, didn't have a comfy chair and the sink is very close to the bath but it was quieter and did the job. Just used the chippy for evening meals but with a pint of Best from the bar and making use of the seating area, thank you. Will hopefully be back"
