"We had a great time in Ghent. The location was great. We were able to see all the sights and come back to the room to rest and go back out again. Like others have said, the stairs are narrow and we were on the third floor so getting our luggage up was somewhat difficult but we brought small bags so not too bad for us. The coffee shop downstairs was convenient and good. We enjoyed our stay in Ghent very much."

The location was a buzzy student area with lots of bars and fast food outlets, which was fun, but could get a little rowdy on weekend evenings.
