Son left new headphones that he just got for his 18th Birthday and other items in draw by accident then checked out. Went back a couple of hours later and room had been made up ready for new guests and locked but items gone!! Disgusting Thieves!! Do Not Stay Here!!

Incredible location, most easy lodge to access

Staff were beyond amazing and very tolerant of my rowdy group. Manager has been helpful booking further accommodation in various locations. Lodge manager even let me borrow her personal hair dryer, so lovely. The only area for improvement would be better kitchen facilities, we brought with us pre-cooked bolognaise for re-heating and pasta to be cooked and there was nothing to do this with. Even an electric fry pan would have been great. A very drawn out process cooking pasta in the microwave took place haha as I didn't want to waste the 2kg of homemade bolognaise. Perfect spot to take kids that get tired walking in the snow!

Great location

I'm told it's an old 'mountain staff' accommodation hostel, and it appears like it. Many of the 'private' Hotham lodges that rent rooms to the public are in much better condition and cheaper. That said, it is in an ideal location - ski in/ski out, easy vehicle access, and within stones throw of Admin centre, bars and restaurants; and the staff were friendly and obliging.

Worst place I've ever stayed in ,

Too expensive for a shared accomodation facility, Room was not clean , flat screen in Room was a old tube tv which didn't work . Rude manager and never again 1000 dollars for 2 nights.

Snowboarding at the Bird

Snowbird Inn was in the best location at Mount Hotham! Right next to the Summit lift and the main village. We could almost board right to the door. The common room always had a fire burning and good amenities for making your own food. The rooms were heated - but almost too much. The bed was creaky so we put the mattress on the floor (there was plenty of room). Unfortunately the room next door were really loud until 2am both nights.

Basic Accomadation close to lift

The Snowbird Inn is the most affordable accomadation on the mounting and only a couple minutes walk to the lift, due to this you do get a lot of school kids and young kids, which was no issue for us. The staff were really friendly and helpfull the prior day call was really useful with advise to pre purchase car park, the check-in process was super quick and we were allowed in to our room early, the room had everything we needed. We will definietly stay again, it is the perfect place to stay if you just want to hit the mountain all day.

Perfect sunset

Exceeded expectations. Right at the base of the village chairlift. Perfect position in town. Ski in and out and so fantastically priced. Will book longer for a spring ski next year!

Superb staff and location

Our holiday went very smooth. We arrive late at night n the staff is nice n wonderful, helping us with the check in and luggage. Location is fantastic, ski in n out to lift straight away. N it is next to day car park so very easy to check out n leave the luggage in the car. Cleanliness should be improved, I found hair on the pillow when we went in and toilet is a bit yellow. Shower is clean There is tv in our room but can not received anything, so useless. Better didn't put the tv in there at all.
