"Clean, well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, great location."

"We spent a week skiing in Alpe d’Huez and had a fantastic stay at Pierre & Vacances Residence L’Ours Blanc. The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, always helpful and pleasant.The location is excellent, right in the centre and just a short walk from restaurants, shops, and activities such as the swimming pool and the ice skating rink. The apartment was very well equipped. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals, and it was great to have both a filter coffee machine and an espresso machine available. The living room was comfortable with a TV and a nice area to relax after a day of skiing. The residence also has self-service laundry facilities, which was very convenient during our stay. Overall, it was a very comfortable and practical place to stay and it really added to our experience in Alpe d’Huez. We would happily stay here again and would definitely recommend it."

"Great location with convenient parking (off site at a charge). Most of the staff were super friendly and helpful. The views from the 7th floor balcony are amazing. The spa was adequate and the pool area is superb. My son had a flood problem in his room which took too long to resolve and when he was offered another room he had to move his own luggage. A true 4 star would’ve done this for him. The comments about outside noise are accurate, even with the windows closed. We were woken at 5am with loaders and trucks clearing the snow. Overall a great stay, just needs a few tweaks to be perfect. "

"Appartement très agréable : bien équipé, lits confortables et, depuis le balcon, une vue imprenable sur la vallée vers Huez/Bourg d'Oisans et son décors montagneux. En étudiant un peu les alentours, chemins et remontées mécaniques internes de la station, l'accès aux pistes peut se faire avec peu d'effort physique."

"Apartment was clean and tidy and staff were friendly. The only thing I’d point out is that it is not located where it says on the map on Expedia. Still not a bad location at all just took a while to find as it was not where we thought it was. Other than that it was a very pleasant stay. "

"Fantastic hotel, with perfect access to the slopes. Only criticism is that the no phone rule is not enforced in the spa, spoiling the environment. "

"The views from the hotel were excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The proximity to the pistes in Les Bergers were excellent. The only couple of negatives were the room cleaning (timing of cleaning and inconsistent of refreshment replenishment) and the 20 Euro charge of 1 hour spa usage for hotel guests."
