The house is so beautiful. It was perfect for a family of 4. They should fix the outdoor gas fire pit. We tried turning it on but it wasn’t working. Also the pullout couch it’s an inflatable
We came to this property for our anniversary weekend, and immediately wished we had booked more nights. Although there were cabins closeby and construction in the distance, we felt very secluded. We brought our small dog, and she enjoyed all of the wildlife to check out. This cabin is the most amazing getaway for you and your partner to relax and enjoy each other! It is a perfect setting for lounging on the patio or in the hot tub. We enjoyed cooking meals both in the kitchen and on the grill. We never left once we arrived! The bathroom is AMAZING! I am a tub girly and my husband is a shower guy, and we greatly enjoyed both. We have stayed in multiple cabins in Hochatown over the years, and this is the one that I would definitely return to visit.
My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary trip and it was wonderful. Super clean and peaceful. Hosts were great and quick to respond when we had a question.
Even though the cabin is right in the middle of multiple other cabins it has a very secluded feel. The whole back patio looks out into wilderness so the hot tub time is very private. Everything was clean and we had a wonderful stay.
Clean
nicely decorated
Everything works
Secluded
Comfy and cozy
…highly recommended for couples looking for quality lazy and intimate seclusion.

The cabin smelled of pine-sol. Totally fine in most cases but it was so strong, it smelled like that our entire stay. It was overwhelming. The floors were not cleaned properly (I’m assuming the non dilution of pine-sol was the culprit) which made them so sticky you had to wear shoes and even they would stick. There was no walking around barefoot or even in socks. The bed creaked so loud, I thought it was going to break. We are not big people. The fan was obnoxiously noisy. The pictures show a very nice shower with all kinds of sprayers…they didn’t work. The main shower jet was all that could be used. The jets on 2 of the seats in the hot tub didn’t work either. Having said that, these did not hinder our stay. They were just annoyances that I didn’t expect to encounter after paying almost 2 grand for 3 nights. There were some good things. The fireplaces are nice and there are 2 swinging chairs on the patio that are the best! The back patio is secluded, especially the hot tub area. Which is very nice. But I feel like the cons outweighed the pros.I let the owner know after arriving home. Only looking for a reply of, “thank you for letting us know, we will get these things checked out”. I told them I wanted them to be aware so they could address it for future visitors. Even asked about a blanket and where they got it because I loved it so much. I received a as a response. Very unprofessional. Will not be staying again.

Perfect Modern Romantic Getaway
Can we give this six stars? This cabin was absolutely amazing and everything was well thought out and decorated to the last detail. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was incredible, the kitchen was well stocked with utensils, and we loved the outdoor deck seating and fire pit! We were secluded in peace with a gentle stream flowing in the background and it was a much more luxurious getaway house than we realized! What a treat for a relaxing week in the woods with our dog!
This "cabin" was amazing! Not only is the house decked out with everything you might need, and then some...but the location was equally amazing. The pictures of the cabin do it justice for sure, but I think it is actually better in person. But the property sits towards the back of the stretch of cabins so it is a bit more secluded than many of the others. I would stay here again and again! If you are wading through the many properties trying to make a decision, you will NOT be disappointed that you chose this one!
Very cute cabin, good location but the coffee creamer that was in the cabinet had an expiration date from 2019 and the half and half was curdled. The bed was awful. My husband and I are in our 30’s and we woke up sore.
I couldn't have picked a better place to celebrate our 40th Anniversary. The Romance Package that I chose was a very nice touch upon our arrival. We totally enjoyed the hot tub every night with the view of the stars. The spa shower and soaking tub was awesome. Loved the view to the back of the cabin and hearing the creek flowing, especially after it rained. Even though there is a cabin directly in front and another to the side, we still had privacy and it was fairly quiet. Would have been nice to have been able to sync my laptop/phone to the television in the bedroom to watch Netflix. It also would have been nice if the television in the living area had local channels to have watched the Super Bowl, and a sound bar would also be of great benefit on that television. Thank goodness we had candles when the power went out for a few hours late one evening. Aside from that, everything else was perfect. We will definitely be returning again soon.
First of all - this is a very nice cabin and the pictures were very accurate. Great semi-private location that backs up to a really nice creek. It was designed perfectly for a couples getaway. The kitchen was nicely furnished, plenty of linens provided in the bath/bedroom. This location was very pet friendly for my Labrador as she was able to roam in the woods and explore the creek while we enjoyed the back deck. Check in was simple and the location is great.
But… the cabin was not cleaned well. The bathtub had not been cleaned well and had several stray hairs floating around in it. The shower had something splattered on the wall that was unidentifiable. The hot tub was dirty and out of chlorine, which made me fearful of getting in. The cabin provided pods for the coffee maker which was nice, but the cleaning light was on the machine and cleaning pods / liquid was not provided. When we made coffee, it was full of grounds due to the need to be cleaned. There was a hornets nest in the cabin and we found ourselves killing / picking up dead hornets all week, and there were several cobwebs inside. Blankets were provided for the living room which was nice, but it was clear they hadn’t been washed. When I reached for the kitchen utensils provided, the spatula was sticky and it was evident it had not been washed.
I have stayed in several cabins in broken bow and this was by far the dirtiest which was a huge disappointment - especially given the price I paid for the week.
Great property with great potential - but needs to be managed better.
In ten years of cabining in SE Oklahoma, this was memorable for the wrong reasons. This property has potential but our stay was marred by a laundry list of WOW Experiences. Foremost and preventable, dangerous falling masonry veneers, which following our complaint and their review management exclaimed (they were) "happy the new loose brick veneers were located all below waist high so they were no real threat to injury." There was a previous fallen (10lb stone) about 14 feet above the fireplace mantel. YIKES! Communication at check in was also poor. 3 emails prefaced our trip warning that our trip might be canceled. The last email made it seem like our reservation would be canceled for lack of payment and threw my wife into a panic while she was traveling, resulting in a call to the office. A day prior to arrival we got a welcome email that mentioned a welcome book at the lodging, that welcome book did not exist at the cabin. On arrival day, we had to call the office to receive our access information for the cabin. On arrival we had to call again about the firewood which we had prepaid for, the firewood arrived 20 hours into our 60 hour stay. The management attributed all of these issues over 18 days to a "New System Glitch" and said it was okay because, "at the end of the day all our guest received necessary information prior to arrival." The icing on the cake which is by NO MEANS MENTIONED in this listing is that there are two 20-25 person PARTY PADS with patios that face this small home. Both houses were pumping the Top 40 bass hits from 12-12 every day of our stay (Thurs-Sun). The management acknowledges that if we had called every day they, "Could have called the property manager who manages that noisy cabin and maybe the property manager could have gotten their guests under control?" This acknowledges that the Party Pads are a regular problem for guests at this property and that management knows as much. We sent video/image evidence and communicated in writing after our stay. At the end of the day, we were told that our experience was par for the course. If you are seeking a peaceful honeymoon retreat or quiet get-away, this is NOT YOUR PLACE. If you are getting out to the woods for a party, like vacationing in hardhats and you're into bad business, this is gonna be a better fit for you. My partner and I found that this cabin was not well advertised for the experience and that management is just fine with the experience we detailed here.

Overall Review
Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the cabin was horrible. Upon entering it smelled very musty. That smell eventually went away by the end of the weekend but it is a smell you just don’t want when you walk into the place you spent money on to stay. The next thing we noticed were the dirty dishes, seasonings, sugar and coffee. These all should have been washed and/or wiped down properly. We literally had to clean before using everything. The pan was so bad we had to put water in it and boil the water for the food to come off. There was tons of cobwebs along the wall as well as the blinds. After cleaning up and unloading we decided to get into the hot tub. There was a brown ring around the left side of the hot tub, the water was dirty and there was only one side of the jets working. Disappointed and utterly exhausted we said the heck with it. We wash up inside and got ready for bed. When we went to pull the sheets back to go to bed it was dirty to the eye. There was someone else’s hair in the bed. It was medium to long length black hair. There were two dark brown spots on the pillow. One looked like a bug and the other like a piece of wood. Being the headboard is wood we thought maybe someone dusted it and a piece of the wood chipped off. Nope, that wouldn’t be it as the headboard was covered in dust. At this point we were disappointed and disgusted. Next day comes around and it was chilly. I pulled one of the blankets out of the basket and unwrapped it over my legs only to find someone’s dried food on it. Again, disgusting. I guess cleaning someone else’s home was in the cards for me this weekend vs. relaxing. By the end of the night we decided fed to make a fire. The firepit is on a bit of a hill and the chairs lean downward. Not a huge deal unless you have a fear of falling down backwards. We did get a fire started but it took a while as the neighbors had a pipe burst that kept spraying water over the already wet firewood we had ordered. Was this place great? No. Could it be? Yes. I would definitely listen to the customers who have left the last couple of reviews for one and I would find a new cleaning crew for two. This is a huge problem and has left me with an overall bad impression of this cabin alone. Oh and save you money on the extras. The romantic package was expensive but cheap if you know what I mean. The firewood was wet and not seasoned. Overall, disappointed and disgusted. We won’t be back.

Absolutely beautiful, peaceful and calm home to spend time in with loved ones. . Enjoyed the deck, jacuzzi and high bar kitchen. Also loved playing the game machine. We loved the convenience to Beavers Bend and plenty of restaurants to choose from. This place is as close to perfection as you can get.
Beautiful property!!! Bohemian Rhapsody was everything and more and provided the most relaxed weekend we've had in a long time. From the fully stocked kitchen and complimentary wifi to his and hers plush bathrobes and amazing view, the luxury and spa-like environment made our stay perfect. Will definitely be back!
