“Really wonderful bungalows! It was great to swim right off our deck. Spacious, clean, and the shower worked well. Not many bugs, but lots of fish - especially at night. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We booked some really fun and affordable tours, ate at their restaurant a few times, and really enjoyed the breakfast in the room. The staff made it really easy to arrange water taxis. We also used the kayaks (free) and loved the nature walk around the property. There was a lot of wildlife……

“A Magical Rainforest Escape – Highly Recommended! We absolutely loved our stay at Ataraxia eco lodge! The property is run by a very nice couple who make you feel incredibly welcome from the moment you arrive. It is beautifully located right in the rainforest, allowing you to completely immerse yourself in nature. “What a gorgeous beach! This was a magical place with the friendliest staff, a great restaurant, and beautiful accommodations. I chose the Jungalow room because I wanted to be immersed in nature. The structure was rustic, but it was so cool hearing all the jungle noises while I slept. The shower was also big and open to the jungle, which was really cool. My friend chose a newer air-conditioned room, which was really lovely. We met travelers from all over and we’re having breakfast with them by……

“Everyone went above & beyond . The owner & all the staff especially the young woman managing the restaurant. The place is beyond cute . The owner is an artist . I stayed at resort the whole time to relax . I ate all my meals there & I am a foodie & they were all excellent. Something for everyone . My room was on the water with big glass sliding doors & A/C. Good for families & couples & singles of all ages . Wonderful.”

“We stayed for four nights in the jungle lodge with ocean view. The lodge and view were excellent. The lodge is rustic but comfortable, with excellent air conditioning, clean bedrooms and bathroom. We got a kick out of the outdoor showers! The staff were helpful and attentive, however, the primary way of communicating is via WhatsApp and the responsiveness and clarity could use improvement.
