she didn't - I bought some myself and replaced them Room seemed to have an issue with small drain flies, one day we had 22 on the ceiling. Room was dirty in areas but always had clean sheets. Houston and the other Manager on duty were very kind and professional, always making sure we were doing ok. The staff in the hotels cozy cafe downstairs were awesome! Love that noise from cafe downstairs and restaurants next door ends at 12am. For convenience to Main Street Istikal and to trams to get to other side it was so easy for us to get around. It’s a safe area. If you’re looking for a budget friendly hotel, I highly recommend Nexthouse Pera. You get to experience real life in Turkey as a lot of locals frequent the cafe and restaurant so I got to see the culture and customs play out. The housekeeper at this hotel is sooo good she is professional and does a really good job cleaning rooms everyday. If you don’t mind the noise below, the first floor is ok, that’s where we stayed - otherwise request a room on the higher floors . All in all, if it’s your first time in Istanbul, this place felt safe and homey for me.
