"If you are looking for somewhere central this apartment is in the very centre of town and the Saturday market. It is not for those less able as there are 3 flights of stairs to the apartment. When you are at the front door the neighbours dog barks. We appreciate there is nothing that can be done about this. "What a fantastic start to our honeymoon, which was booked last minute after an injury prevented us from our abroad plans! The inn is gorgeous with the most beautiful terrace! The nightlight of our stay, however was the wonderful staff, closely followed by the exceptional food - we were looked after so well by the team who couldn't do enough for us for our special occasion. We felt almost like family and you are all a credit to the inn! I recommend to stay - but also just go for a fabulous dinner - you will not be disappointed!"

"Beautiful old hotel. Lovely breakfast. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Stayed during the heatwave last week so bedrooms were incredibly hot but fans and bottles of iced water provided. No air conditioning which would have helped enormously but did not spoil our stay. Foyer and lounge areas coolest part of hotel. Would definitely stay again, though hopefully not in a heatwave next time."

"We had a late check in (out of staffed hours) and it could not have been easier. We made contact to make sure it was ok, on arrival we got access and our room key with no fuss. Located the room and it was all very fresh feeling and lovely. It being one of the hottest nights of the year and there no built in aircon (welcome to England), but the fan kept us cool and the whole set up was really good. Check out was very simple too."

"Very friendly staff and well maintained hotel, the room was clean but a bit noisy. Room 4 was a bit noisy as the kitchen was below and we had to have the windows open, we were only staying the one night so didn’t complain. We had eat in the restaurant on Monday evening and had a very pleasant time good food and a drink outside on the patio."
