Lovely pub stay

Lovely place to stay in pretty surroundings. Unfortunately they were not doing food on the Sunday night but there were other places to eat nearby. The room was spacious, comfortable bed, and good shower.

Well worth a visit

Full of history and character. Food and drink very good. Breakfast and evening meals both really tasty. Some areas of building/room need upgrading. Lack of parking only a minor problem. Location surprisingly quiet.

Good one night stay

Lovely old inn / hotel with lots of history. We had a good sized room with comfy bed and pillows. We had an evening meal in the bar which was good, service was great too. We did have an issue that the towel rail in the bathroom wasn't working. We reported this with the staff in the morning so hopefully it will be sorted for further guests. Breakfast was really nice , plenty of options on offer.

Warm welcome, management and staff friendly and committed to total guest satisfaction. Only negative was that we found the bed to be very firm. Really enjoyed the Inn‘s pub.

Nothing to complain about which is always good. Staff friendly and helpful. Great town centre location. Easy off site parking for £7 (24hours) a minutes walk away. Room was immaculate. Bathroom small but functional.

This is a fabulous old coaching inn that sadly deteriorates year by year as a promised refurbishment doesn’t happen. I had a room in the old part which was fine but the bathroom needed urgent attention.

Comfortable historic property stay.

Lovely attractive old property. Lack of parking meant we had a choice of paying £6 to park in a car park a few hundred metres from the Inn or do what I did was find free parking on a road no further away. Staff were friendly, food on offer very good and our room spacious and comfortable though not on the ground floor as requested.
