1840 Homestead

Back in time…this beautiful 1840 Homestead.

I believe you will find the homestead meeting all your expectations. We have several nearby wedding barns (if you are attending one). We are 30 minutes away from downtown Indy, 26 miles from Indianapolis Motor Speedway Track...Brownsburg’s Lucas Oil Raceway 18 miles. Turkey Run State Park is 34 miles. Attica Badland’s are 47 minutes away. We are centrally located for all the enjoyment central Indiana has to offer. You will have the entire house which has a Queen size tempur pedic bed, plus a day bed with a trundle. The house is completely furnished with a fully stocked kitchen. Beautifully furnished with antiques yet, with the modern conveniences. The grounds have a bbq grill plus a hot tub and a fire-pit for your enjoyment. We do except small dogs with no deposit, we have pets and truly believe they are a part of our family...I enjoy meeting new people, making their vacation completely enjoyable. Pictures don’t do it justice!
The barn & loft is beautiful! Bed was super comfy, kitchen & living room was nice. It rained while we were there so our plans were cancelled. So we stayed at the loft most of the time. Such a relaxing stay! I’d highly recommend it to anyone. The host was helpful in answering my questions before our stay.

We loved the coziness of the property and the special amenities (snacks, drinks). We did have a bit of an issue with the property manager not realizing we had a reservation (VRBO did not send a reminder), but the issue was quickly resolved and did not affect our stay. It was somewhat difficult to find the property, especially in the dark. We followed the directions in the communication, but it was not accurate. Overall, very nice place to stay! Would stay again.

We absolutely loved our stay in the loft! It is so prettily decorated and the perfect getaway for a couple that wants to relax. The hosts were the best, we struggled to log on to the wifi and even were in an accident while on our trip and the hosts were quick to communicate and help us in any way they could!

At Home in a Barn Loft
The Barn Loft was beautiful, inside and out. The open living space was done in a farmhouse style, quite lovely. The king size bed was cozy and comfortable. The living room and dining area were big enough for several guests. The kitchen and snacks were well stocked as were a variety of drinks in the fridge. The bath included both a tub/shower for guests. The hosts were readily available and very nice. I recommend this stay for a quiet get-away for anyone. There is even a second bedroom if needed.
