"We thought the location was perfect as it is in a gated community that is close to everything we needed yet fairly quiet. It was about 25 minutes from Jekyll Island and St. Simons Island. "An before before reaching my destination I received an email from the owners that the place was rented out to someone else. They never bothered to check their email that a reservation had been booked for their rental. VRBO cancelled my booking but wanted to place me into a hotel. The entire point of. VRBO is not to stay at a hotel. Ended up driving back home."
