"Lovely spacious home with well equipped necessities for a large family vacation. The kitchen offered many items—multiple dish wear/silverware items, cookware, large cabinet spaces for food storage and essentials for making our vacation easy. The furniture, throughout the house, was very comfortable. Plenty of space to sit and enjoy a meal, conversation or nap! Everything was great—both inside and outside!"

"We loved our stay at Songbrid Escape! The house is well laid out with lots of amenities. The kitchen is spacious and well stocked with dishes, cookware, and appliances. The beds are very comfortable. The boat dock was my favorite spot! It has great furniture in the sun and shade, a ceiling fan that cut through the heat, a refrigerator and ice maker that was such a perk and lots of floats and kayaks. This is our 4th time to Gaston and this is our favorite house so far. The hosts were very responsive to questions. We will definitely come back here."

"We couldn’t have loved our stay at this gorgeous house any more. The moment that I walked down the walkway from the car to the porch, I got actual goosebumps when I saw the panoramic view of the lake. From then on, we spent every moment outside that we possibly could. When we weren’t boating, we floated on the lily pad, used the kayak, and jumped off the dock countless times. We ate meals either on the porch or out on the top deck of the dock. We loved using the fire pit on the porch and grilling a couple of our dinners. We even sat on the porch during a complete downpour and were able to watch the storm roll in and out. Communicating with Marianne was easy and pleasant. We will definitely stay here again if we are able to come back to Lake Gaston next year! "
