Needs more hanging space in the bathroom and unfortunately there was a smashed window covered in cardboard in the front hall that I was not informed about. "The Cottage was ideally located for lots of adventures and had a very homely feel. The Cottage has the benefit of off road parking and because there are really good amenities in Braithwaite together with the fabulous walks from the door ranging from a Wainwright to a gentle stroll around the village we didn't use the car. We particularly enjoyed the walk up Barrow and Outerside with our dog Toby. I'm sure we will be staying again."

"I stayed in room 65. The room was clean the staff were really helpful. The breakfast was well presented and really nice. We ate there once in the evening and it was great. The spa was really nice. We both had a massage felt really relax. As anyone would tell you there lots to do in the local area, but also good to just relax. I recomend booking the treatment in advance of your stay as its hard to get hold off the massuer."
