Daisy Cottage - a cottage that sleeps 4 guests in 2 bedrooms

The ground floor is all open plan and offers a wonderful space for holidays. The lounge area has a large three seater sofa and an easy chair, TV, DVD, and CD player. There is also a dining table and four chairs.

The kitchen is very well equipped and has electric oven & hob, dishwasher, fridge with ice box, microwave etc. There is plenty of worktop space and is well lit.

There are two very pretty bedrooms with beamed ceilings. The double bedroom has oak furniture with excellent quality linens and luxury towels. Next to the double room is a brand new bathroom with bath (with shower over) wash hand basin and WC. The second bedroom has two single beds. Off this room there is an en-suite shower room with large shower, wash hand basin and WC.

Daisy Cottage is one of our longest letting cottages and is ideally situated just off the town centre streets, full of interest and well worth a visit, very much a home from home.

To the front there is a block paved area with private parking for one car and an area to sit out where there is a bench and lovely potted plants.

There is a separate utility room with a washing machine, tumble dryer, shoe racks and plenty hooks for coats. Bikes can be stored in this room.

A lovely week in Daisy Cottage

What a lovely property. We loved all the Herdy products and the Daisy theme. Loved the split staircase - we went with our adult son and his partner so it was great for us all to have the extra privacy of our own little space. The beds were really comfortable and the quality of the fixtures and fittings was superb. We will definitely be returning!

Lovely Cottage

My wife and I together with our daughter and grandson had a very enjoyable stay in Daisy Cottage and have already rebooked for next year. The property is in excellent condition and is exceptionally clean and well equipped. If I wanted to be critical I would say that the internet needs improvement as it is very slow and the property would benefit from more plug sockets in the main bedroom (we couldn’t find any spare ones) and a socket in the bathroom for shave/toothbrush. Otherwise, I couldn’t fault it. Also, the off street parking is a real benefit.

Convenient, clean and comfortable

Daisy cottage was the perfect location for our stay in Keswick. Close to all the amenities of the town. Everything was clean and comfortable and we loved returning there each day. The only thing which could have improved our stay was to have instructions for the electrical goods. Otherwise, wonderful. Thank you.

Wonderful stay at Daisy Cottage

We appreciated Daisy Cottage had been sympathetically modernised and had everything we needed to make our stay relaxing. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds and linen were super comfy and we were thankful of the added bonus of parking, although small, it was adequate for our estate car after some manoeuvring. The cottage is perfectly located to potter around the town.

We have been coming to Keswick for 25 years. We have stayed in Daisy Cottage a number of times as it is in a great location (and it was the first cottage we stayed in.) There were one or two problems during the week, but these were dealt with quickly and efficiently by the Keswick Cottages team. A great place to stay.

Daisy Cottage is a lovely cottage in an excellent location. The cottage was spotless and the decor is excellent. All in all a brilliant holiday cottage. The only thing missing was a microwave oven but we were ok without one.

Fantastic property in fab location

We have enjoyed a wonderful stay in Daisy Cottage. We return regularly and this year enjoyed the benefits of a well thought out renovation downstairs. The new door linking the outhouse with the living area is a boom and helps keeping outdoor gear away from the rest of the property. Especially on rainy days. Before you had to go outside to access it. The cottage is warm and comfortable. Sitting for four is a bit tight and for visitors like us who eat in a lot a bit more cooking equipment would be handy. The new appliances are excellent. The on site parking is a boom as well as parking in Keswick can be a nightmare. Overall a fabulous property in a fabulous location. We will be returning next year.

Absolutely wonderful place. Great location and very easy to find thanks to the directions provided by the hosts. Easy access and departure. Off road parking space directly outside the cottage. Both bedrooms and bathrooms are very good and well proportioned. Utility/drying room (containing washing machine/dryer/iron) was a godsend. Fully stocked kitchen, TV, internet. Daisy Cottage - a wonderful place to stay

We really enjoyed our time at Daisy Cottage. It was spotlessly presented and the open-plan style of the downstairs suited us perfectly, with everything close to hand. Great care has been taken over the quality of furnishings and bedding. The separate utility room next door was very useful for when we came back from walking, wet and muddy. Upstairs, the bedrooms were extremely comfortable. There was a collection of games and cards and a few interesting books on the area. Location-wise, it was perfect - central yet quiet. The bus station and Booths supermarket were only a 10 minute walk away and there were excellent sandwich shops and restaurants close by. It also made a change to be able to deal with a small, local agency where the staff were very helpful. As for suggestions for improvement, a few coat hooks by the front door would be most welcome ((there are hooks in the utility, but that is next door). Also the shower pressure in the main bathroom is very low, but not sure if anything can be done about that. We would definitely stay again.

A lovely week in Daisy Cottage

Really great location for exploring Keswick and walking straight from the door up the fells. The cottage was very comfortable and had everything we needed ,home from home. Lovely bed linen and very comfy beds ! The car parking is extremely tight and we wouldn't have managed to fit our smallish car alongside another if next cottage was occupied. Fortunately we had the space to ourselves until the last day . A definite cottage to return to thank you .
