"Heima Holiday Homes are located just a short drive from town, and offers supreme serenity and great Mountain View. Self-checkin was hassle free. The home was fully furnished and equipped. Floor was heated, including bathroom floor. We especially enjoyed the company of the property’s two friend dogs who came by my cabin and played ball with us (the dog brought its own ball to ask us to play, so cute!) The only one thing I would ask for is a little shelf in the shower area for us to place our own...

"This was the coolest place we stayed in during our entire trip. The room had everything we needed & had some very fun surprises built in as well. The wind was super strong during our stay but we still slept soundly. It’s about 30 minutes outside of Selfoss, but it is absolutely worth the stay. "We had a fabulously memorable overnight stay in one of the bubbles. We stayed during a 50+mph storm and blizzard so had some reservations about it before we arrived, but we received a very warm welcome from Matt who put us at ease. Sheltered by trees, it was rock solid and toasty warm. Warm air is pumped inside all night and there is an electric blanket on the bed and very warm down duvets. Despite it being -4°C outside we didn’t need the electric blanket. The shower and toilet blocks were spotlessly clean. I would definitely stay again. Thank you Matt for a great stay 😊"
