"I was met by the owner Passi who was waiting for me. I had booked into one of the apartments but wes told that I was staying in one of the cottages by the lake. Passi took me to the cottage which has its own wood burning sauna and stunning views looking out to Lake Orivesi. "The cabin is really lovely, in a beautiful setting and very quiet. This place is ideal for some peaceful time in nature. Olga is a wonderful host, considerate and answered all my questions very promptly. There is a beautiful swimming spot just 15 mins walk (or 2 min drive) from the cabin, down Mökinrannantie. There is also a beautiful public swimming spot in Kesalahti at which is a 15 minutes drive - called Sortolampi Beach. All the public swim spots have convenient changing cabins. The shops in Kitee are around 30 mins drive have everything you might need - make sure you check out the Marimekko outlet shop!"
