I WAS a bit put off by the surprise 3% adjustment for checking in with a credit card and not Cash. I stated this was never laid out in the website and he immediately said he’d give me a discount to not reflect the 3% surcharge. Decent stark no frills no breakfast hotel on primary road to Smokie Mountains. Not very nice but you get what you don’t pay for. Is one of many chain hotels at this intersection. We, like others, stayed after attending U of Tn football game. We have stayed here twice and it's not a long drive to Neyland Stadium. We love that we can get up and walk across the parking lot to Dunkin for coffee and Chik-fila for breakfast or lunch. But I probably won't stay here again because as I was double-checking to see that we had everything before leaving, I opened a drawer and there was a roach crawling in it. I can't risk those getting in my luggage and coming home with us.
