The house is perfect for a large group, with plenty of space and everything we needed. The views of the lake are absolutely beautiful, and we especially loved having access to the private dock—it made the whole experience even more special. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great place to stay on Lake Pend Oreille!"

"Authentic log cabin on the hill looking down upon Lake Pend Orielle. Cozy and intimate. Great location to the Schweitzer slopes, a little bit of a drive (20+ mins) to get down to Sandpoint. Flooring was a little warped in spots, but overall a great stay. Would stay again."

It was nice to have a full kitchen to make special meals together, and the cabin had several nice features….including artwork made by the host, skylight windows in the loft, and a unique LED backlit glass block shower....

"Stayed just one night at this lovely lodge on our way back home from a road trip Feels more like a big homey mansion where strangers are considered family. Very cozy and relaxed and definitely dog friendly. Interesting architecture inside with lots of beautiful warm wood and spacious outdoors with splendid and far views. Definitely recommend!"

"This is an older hotel property - staff & ownership clearly work very hard at making the property comfortable. Property is clean inside and out, it looks to get updates in finishes on a schedule that's at least as good as industry standard and probably better. Because the building is older than new builds, if a person is really sensitive to noise then that person may be happier spending a lot more money somewhere else. But for me, I'm very happy to stay at this clean property in an older building at a much cheaper rate than new builds and save the money. And the staff was real-people very nice and hospitable! Not fake corporate "I've been trained to be polite" (necessary I get) but actually genuinely friendly. This is a great place to stay when one is passing through or in the area to do other things...it's not a "destination" place where a guest should expect to be catered to."
