The bathroom door jamb was pulled apart and moldy and I was not comfortable taking a shower as it had mold in the caulking with peeling paint. The external high ratings that I had taken into consideration when selecting the property could not possibly have been from real clients. The staircase and halls were smelled of cigarettes and elevator was not operational when we were there. The property has a boarding house / office building feel.I was so disappointed I wanted to cry. I didn't complain the night of our stay because there was nothing that could have been immediately done." The small historical neighbourhood is majestic and so peaceful. The staff at Kokkino Spiti went above and beyond. Very friendly, welcoming and professional. They treated us so well, they made sure we were comfortable and treated my 90 year old father with such kindness. The breakfast was great, we were treated to the local olives, jams, fresh bread and local yogurt and honey. We are definitely coming back!!!
