“The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful with everything we asks them and more, they helped us plan where to go and organized our transportation. The location is amazing and the facilities are excellent. Highly recommended!”

“The hotel is bordered by the lake on one side and virgin forest on the other. I took 3 marvelous meals a day and the evening meal had a roaring camp fire. Staff were superb. A boat trip organised by the manager was wonderful, many lake birds, families of monitor lizards and a flock of african grey parrots! Rooms clean, food good, drinks cold, assistance with travel, infact assistance with anything. What more do you want! ”

“I stayed 2 nights in a Mirembe cottage- my friend had the cottage next door and we had a dedicated outside eating area, from where we were served our food.We were served by James who was consistently courteous and efficient .We felt like film stars on a tropical island as we ate delicious food sitting by the lake watching a wide variety of birds - it was just such a treat!”

“Hotel bastante desastre en cuanto al estado de las instalaciones (Habitaciones con ventanas totalmente rotas, necesidad de pintar paredes , problemas con las duchas, baldosas en la piscina rotas, etc .) Música demasiado alta y hasta altas horas de la noche en alguna ocasión en la zona de la piscina . El personal me trató bastante bien . El entorno es un sitio precioso y este alojamiento es una opción asequible pero si volviera buscaría otro mejor . ”

“This was a haven of rest after a busy trip. The hotel offer free transportation to the mall and the airport. One night there was a noisy event on the beach but it finished at 11pm Staff friendly for the most part. There was an unfortunate incident at the end which occurred because of miscommunication between Expedia and the hotel concerning check out time. Expedia told me 10pm and the hotel wanted to charge me an extra night as they said check out was 11am. I had a previously arranged shuttle……

We highly recommend this as a location, especially if you are leaving early in the morning to catch a plane for a gorilla Trek”

“Arrived late at night and initially was shown a room next to reception, despite having booked a deluxe room with partial lake view. This was quickly rectified but fan was ineffective and stopped working in the middle of the night”
