"This ocean front beach house was the perfect location for us to relax after several days of hiking in the rain forest. The interior was beautifully renovated with tile floors, high wood ceilings and mini split air conditioners that kept it nice and cool. The large ocean front porch was ideal for morning breakfast, and the mountains behind the house provided a gorgeous backdrop for swimming. There is approximately 30’ of beach before you get to the water and the property is surrounded by small farms and a few other beach houses. It feels very private and safe. The caretakers, Saira and Wilson were very attentive and helpful, helping us with our luggage and helping with any issues or questions we had. (They speak only Spanish). The property host, Jay, was excellent at communicating before and during our stay and arranged for us a private boat outing to the Cayos Cochinos which was amazing! The location is not near public transportation, so if you don’t have a car, you’ll need to arrange for transportation. The WiFi was also a little spotty."
