Derrick Cave is a lava tube in Oregon. One side is very short. Several inlets for sun and the opposite side goes several hundred feet or so before dead ending. The road there is over 20 miles of forest service road. You should have a truck or slightly higher vehicle and tough tires. I saw no one on the way there or back. Watch for cows as well. #Nature

"The condo is reasonably close to the Village and is quiet. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen has a good variety of dish ware and cooking tools. Having SHARC access and a car charger was awesome. What we didn’t love was a lack of good screening on the windows in a location with mosquitos. There is no A/C so being able to open windows on hot days is important. The sleeping loft is creative- but perhaps not an ideal arrangement, especially if you have young kids.
