"Our family was in town for a wedding and a SDSU College visit. We were very happy with the location. We could relax and unwind very comfortably at the cabin. Very clean, plenty of space, and it has all the necessary items. The cabin is decorated to give you that "Cabin/Lake" feel. Super cute!!! The host was fantastic to work with. He answered all my questions in a timely matter. We very much appreciated that. We will definitely be back."

"Clean, comfortable, great view of the lake. Nice fire pit area. Easy drive to get additional supplies or go out to eat. Would definitely stay again. We thoroughly enjoyed it!"

" My husband and I have been here before. We are back, because we like it so well. The cabin is nicely decorated, we always have everything we need. The weather was alittle cool, but we enjoyed the stay anyway. I can't think of a better way to relax!!"

"This Lake Poinsett lakefront property was exactly as described. We appreciated that the kitchen was well-equipped and had everything we needed for meal prep. The bed was comfortable, loved the fluffy towels, and everything inside the home was clean. The lake service came and raised the dock while we were there which was great otherwise we had to wade through a few feet of water to get on the dock due to all the rain they've received. The owners were kind enough to offer early check-in and said we could stay past checkout on Sunday. Wish we could've taken advantage of that but had to get back to reality. The beautiful weather made our weekend even better. Unfortunately the fish must've left for the weekend as we didn't catch a thing! We enjoyed golfing at a couple of the local courses. This property is nothing fancy but if your looking for a reasonably priced stay on Lake Poinsett with all the basic necessities I would highly recommend it."

"We had a wonderful stay! This is a beautiful, new, and very clean home in a great location. The views are really nice, and the amenities, from the patio to the fire pit made it easy to relax and enjoy our time.The kitchen is well-stocked with cookware and utensils, though be sure to bring any cooking ingredient staples you might need (like olive oil)—we didn’t come fully prepared but made it work. Also, while the beach area is nice, it’s not kept up well and not super young kid friendly (which the host mentioned).Overall, we had a great experience and would absolutely recommend this home. The host was responsive, helpful, and easy to work with throughout."
