“We loved our stay at Tuck Away Suites! We were there for two nights and it was so nice. The unit was very clean, spacious, and loved the mini apartment/condo feel. “We were there just to sleep. Showed up late afternoon. Directions were spot on all the way to unlocking the door. Dressed warm to watch the sunset at the state park, beautiful. Picked up a pizza down the street, ate at the home. It was all we need for 4 people. 1 suggestion: have a list of places to eat for the fall visitors. Many places were closed or had limited hours due to the time of year.”

“Centrally located in the Old Port, with views of the harbor, this was a last minute — therefore pricey — excellent find for a fall weekend getaway. Stylish, elegant rehab of 19th century granite industrial building. Whimsical decor notes referring to 19th century owner Evalina Fox. Nicely appointed kitchenette — though if you came to Portland for the foodie scene, you might end up just using it for breakfast, as we did. Only sour note was the disco music (coming in via the ventilation……
