Great stay at historical location

The rooms (especially the beds) are super comfy, so the main purpose of a hotel visit, a good night's sleep, is 10/10. The hotel has a lot of small charming details, such as game rooms and play room for children, which make it to stand out from the competition. The breakfast, however, could be better.

Historic Building and Hotel

Great hotel in Lappeenranta. It incorporates its military history well, without it being overbearing. There are good communal facilities including a games room, children's room and coffee area. Breakfast was of a high quality. The rooms were well appointed and excellent bathroom facilities.

Hotel Rakuuna was lovely and quiet. Walk around the historic buildings and down to the lake was pleasant Staff were friendly and helpful. The shared kitchen stocked everything and kept clean However, after leaving we discovered we had left a cloth bag under the desk in our room. We were happy to pickup on return however the staff advised they didnt find it. This was disappointing to hear as we know it was left there. Lucky there was nothing valuable in it.

Mukava hotelli lähellä kiinnostavia paikkoja. Erinomainen aamupala jolla jaksoi jatkaa matkaa. Ainoa miinus oli se että hotelli oli hankala löytää sokkeloisella alueella. Opasteita olisi voinut olla enemmän sillä sekin hämäsi että hotellin sisäänkäynnin eteen ei voi ajaa.

J Karjalainen keikalla kotikaupungissamme. Taksin odottelun välttämiseksi päätimme yöpyä noin viiden kilometrin päässä kotoa. Erinomainen idea jälkikäteen arvosteltuna. Vallan viihtyisä huone sekä sänky. Illalla otimme samassa kiinteistössä sijaitsevasta Fizzasta pizzan ja henkilökunta opasti meitä syömään sen hotellin kahvilassa, hyvä ajatus. Asiallinen aamiainen viimeisteli vierailun.
