"The room is clean and quiet, the breakfast is fine. Bartenders are the most helpful people in the hotel. Reception staff is unprofessional, borderline rude. For the first time in my 30+y travel experience, there was zero explanation about hotel amenities upon check in. What is plain scandalous, I was given a room of a lower class than I paid for in advance. Had to go all the way to the manager. In my room, I could hear every toilet flush from the top to the bottom floor. No complementary water, no water coolers, no ice machines. This is a striking bad experience against the general quality service culture of Rīga hotels."

"Beautiful historical recently opened hotel, right in the center. A the name implies, this is a converted convent. Gorgeous and comfortable big rooms. Quiet except for large old doors that slam shut when people exit their building. Great light. Excellent breakfast and restaurant attached. Friendly and helpful people. Close to everything. Note that there was no elevator in our building so be prepared to climb up to 4 floors, but they have very helpful bag boys to help with your luggage. This place is a HIGH recommend."

"Rooms are small , location good , didn't try breakfast , staff needs to be asked , no initiative to help , parking rules ? need to stay 2 weeks in order to obtain the space , Overall reasonable economy hotel . Yes and no upgrades for Marriot Bonvoy members ."

"Very friendly, very helpful staff. The bed was comfortable , we slept well. Good selection of food at breakfast . Heated towel rail in bathroom very good shower over bath. Soap, shampoo and conditioner provided . Good air con. The bar was closed on Sunday and Monday evening. The trams lines were adjacent to the hotel noisy if window open. Ear plugs were provided ."
Pullman Riga Old Town (Renovated 2025)

"We have stayed at the Pullman Riga before and had experienced noise between rooms and from the room above but due to a lack of accomodation availability and the renovation that had apparently occurred between stays we decided to give it another chance. On returning to our room to room in the evening ~10:30 we were greeted by the noise of screaming children from the adjacent room and regular noise from the room above. Hotel staff were very helpful in relocating us to a quieter room in the other wing of the hotel but on rising the following morning there was noise again from the room above. This just appears to be an issue with this property that may never be resolved. Aside from that it is a clean and tidy hotel in a great location with helpful staff."
