Bradut
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (4 reviews)
"Castle Daniel was an amazing experience! The property is very well-maintained, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The meals were very good. The staff were all excellent, and recommended several great activities nearby (including visiting the Suto family of artisans, and visiting Kalnoky Castle.) The best part, though, was the spa. The pool was long and pristine, and the jacuzzi and steam room were divine. We can't recommended Castle Daniel enough!"

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Lazaresti?
The best area to stay in Lazaresti is directly within the village center itself, particularly along the main road that winds through the settlement.

This central area offers convenient access to the village's primary features, including its traditional houses and the small, local shops. The layout is quite linear, following the natural contours of the valley, making it easy to navigate on foot.

For couples seeking a peaceful and authentic experience, staying in the heart of Lazaresti is ideal. You'll find guesthouses and accommodations that often provide home-cooked meals featuring local ingredients, allowing for a relaxed and culturally connected stay. It's a great base for exploring the surrounding natural beauty and experiencing rural life.

Travelers looking for a quiet retreat will also appreciate the village center. The pace of life is slow, and the natural surroundings offer opportunities for leisurely walks and enjoying the serene landscape.
When is the best time to go to Lazaresti?
The best time to visit Lăzarești is during the summer months, from June to August, or in the early autumn, specifically September.

The longer daylight hours provide ample time for sightseeing and enjoying the scenic beauty of Harghita County. This period is particularly good for families looking to spend time outdoors.

For couples or travelers seeking a quieter experience with beautiful scenery, September is an excellent choice. The weather remains mild, and the changing leaves bring a stunning array of colors to the landscape, great for photography and relaxed strolls.
