I had help checking in at 1 am which can be impossible at small inns like this. The room was great and had an awesome view of the river out back. It was easy to check in and out. We had continental breakfast in the morning. It was great except that the waffle mix ran out, but we got there less than a half an hr before breakfast was over so that was probably why. The only other thing I didnt like so much was the suttle smell inside the room. They could definitely use some air fresheners to keep it smelling better.

If you expect housekeeping every on a multi-day stay, this place is not for you. Clean when you arrive, simple continental breakfast, old fashioned motel. A little long in the tooth, but as a place to sleep comfortably, at below local market rates, it can't be beat.

I look for three things in a motel - cleanliness, safety and a comfortable bed. I found all three here. In addition, I use a walking stick and the gentleman at the desk carried my bag to my room for me. The room was clean. I felt safe and got a good night's sleep in the bed. The only small shortcoming was that one bedside lamp didn't work. I just moved to the other side. But if I had been sharing the room, it would have been an annoyance, though I felt that it would have been corrected if I had asked. The breakfast was the usual motel selection. An extra perk was the view of the river from my room. The sunset was glorious.

They upgraded my room from the small window view of the lake to the 4 separate units that had a wonderful view of the lake Staff was very kind and accommodating to my needs Even though the weather was rainy still had a warm cozy amenity filled room Nice pictures on the walls and the bed was super comfy and very quiet surroundings Could even see different variety of bird outside the window It definitely exceeded my expectations and would stay there agsin They even had a continental breakfast set up with waffle maker and syrup 2 thumbs up

Kind of what you would expect for the price - that said, it is right along the river and close to Hanover, which is a bonus. The bed and sheets were comfortable. Pillows were as hard as rocks. Bathroom had pee stains on the wall next to the toilet.

It was great waking up to the Amon covered reservoir out my window. The room was comfortably heated even while the days were in the single digits, so structurally sound as well. The bed would stand up to the best venues, and great pillows and pro duvet The sliver shower soap were the barest slivers, and one of those was shattered to unusabbility. But that’s splitting g hairs. This place was quality for the mo du for sure. I’d stay again if in the neighborhood
