“I would not recommend staying at the Presque Isle Hotel. It was, without question, the dirtiest and most run-down hotel I’ve ever experienced. We arrived to check in at 6:00 p.m., despite check-in being 3:00 p.m., only to find our assigned room still being cleaned. There were empty bottles, garbage, and other debris throughout the room. A maintenance worker met us at the door and told us he was still cleaning it and that we would have to come back later. The front desk eventually gave us a……

“The apartment had plenty of space for us and had everything we needed for our short stay. Oddly, I never received the "usual" emails from Vrbo with arrival instructions, etc, I contacted the host directly for instructions. He was very helpful and responded quickly. We were pleased to find everything clean and tidy. There were a couple of minor things that need attention, which I am sure will be taken care of. It was evident that things were cared for and in good order there. One thing to know……

“Close to airport, free parking. Staff was accommodating. Breakfast was a version of a continental breakfast. Coffee was a Keurig, which I don’t care for. Room dated but clean.”
