Stayed for 2 nights in this adorable Yurt while hiking at Hocking Hills. It’s exactly as pictured and the hot tub was fantastic for the sore hiking muscles at the end of the day!!

Relaxing Getaway

This was the perfect solo retreat to unwind and get away for a couple days. The yurt had everything I needed, and the hot tub was awesome!

Interesting place to stay

The yurt was very clean and had all the amenities we were looking for. The shower pressure was great and the kitchen was stocked with plates, utensils, etc. The departure requests were minimal. I would stay here again. As a side note, there is a seond yurt that was closer than expected.

Anniversary get away

Thank you for allowing us to rent your yurt! It was a super quaint and fun getaway! We celebrated our anniversary and did some hiking too. Lots of great restaurants fairly close too!

Quiet getaway

We were very impressed. We couldn’t get our code to work to enter the property and called the property manager. They returned our call immediately and rectified the situation. The yurt itself was very clean. We enjoyed listening to the birds and the rain at night. The only disappointing thing was the hot tub wasn’t very clean with floating debris. This did not detour our relaxing stay. We would still recommend this unique property to family and friends.

Great Getaway!

Wanted to spend a few days away with my wife to just chill, and do a little hiking. This was the absolute perfect place to do so! Description of the property is very accurate. Everything was very clean and well taken care of, and all of the hiking trails were only 20-30 minutes away. Would recommend this place to absolutely anyone.

Yurt in picturesque environment

This was our first start in a yurt, and we definitely chose the right one! This was so quaint and clean, with all the amenities and more. We enjoyed the hot tub after two busy days, and enjoyed the sounds of nature. Great host!

Beautiful place

We had a wonderful time. This was our first time staying in a Yurt. It’s the best of both worlds. Hotel amenities with the sounds of nature while you relax. We will for sure stay here again.

One of the coolest places I've ever stayed

I loved the yurt. Very clean and comfortable. Surrounded by trees which offered the perfect seclusion my husband I were looking for. Still close enough to restaurants and the state park for hiking. I would love to stay there again if ever back in Ohio.

Great place

My wife and I stayed here for 1 night and I wish we would’ve stayed longer. The yurt was very clean and had all the amenities you could need. We have 3 young kids and this was a perfect night away from them to recoup mentally. We both can’t remember the last time we were able to get a full nights rest of peace and quiet. Hopefully we will be able to stay here again sometime soon

Perfect

The yurt was perfect. Clean, warm (& it was cold outside 14F). The hot tub was a great respite from the cold hiking. We built a fire outside & cooked in it. Could use a bigger pot for boiling water (couldn’t make spaghetti ) and take aluminum foil/ siren wrap with you. We ran out of water the morning of departure due to a water main break. Timely explanation from the property hosts. All in all a great experience.

Grey yurt

We absolutely loved our stay in the grey yurt! The location was beautiful. The accommodations far exceeded our expectations. The AC was more than powerful even when the temp surpassed 90. The water pressure in the shower was amazing, and the hot tub/deck was completely secluded and the bed was soft and comfortable. The WiFi was more than sufficient for streaming and the yurt was fully stocked with coffee, dishes, silverware and supplies. We would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a romantic escape close to the park and all the restaurants.

Better than the pictures!

I stayed when the temperature was 9degrees and I was impressed by how cozy it was! The hot tub was perfect and the morning sun on the snow and trees was breath-taking! I had a blast relaxing and enjoying nature! Whispering cave and old man’s cave were about 15 minutes away and there weren’t a lot of winding roads to get to the yurts. It’s pretty close to a gas station if you need anything. Overall had an amazing experience!

Lackluster…

First time booking through Vrbo unfortunately not a great first impression. Check in process was good and location of site was easy to find. Day one our neighbors staying in the other Yurt didn’t observe “quiet hours”. Music blaring at 11:30pm. Night two more issues. My wife and I got back from hiking and find a puddle of water in the center of the Yurt. Host is notified and says it’s simply “condensation”. Which they knew about before hand. Then more drops of water come from the ceiling due to rain. Then icing on the cake, after dinner sitting on the couch a mouse runs under the stove…fun times…

Peaceful and Serene!

Had the best, most relaxing stay! The Yurt is BEAUTIFUL down to every decor detail, and extremely clean. The convenience of having a stove, oven, grill and all cooking supplies allowed to have food premade and prepared there so we didn’t have to leave the entire stay. While you feel very secluded, you are still close enough to many dining and store options, with DoorDash also available if needed. There is another Yurt on the property but far enough away where you do not notice. During the stay we were also able to book a couples massages with a local company that will travel to the location. The Yurt allowed ample space for 2 massage tables for the appointment. It rained the majority of our weekend which made everything that much more relaxing, listening to the rain hit the outside! We highly recommend & will be staying again when in the area!

Perfect Getaway

Super clean, quality items, fully stocked!Kitchen items better than mine at home. Kept perfect temperature even though it was very cold outside. It’s very spacious with a full size bathroom & tons of water pressure!Warning: you’re going to want to take the blanket home! But don’t do that, I found it online and already purchased it lol. Life Comfort Reversible Sherpa. The coat rack, and the tiny space heater for your feet in the bathroom, genius. You’re getting a great value for the price!! I can’t wait to come back and stay again. It seems they thought of everything & everything had a lot of thought that went into it! Very private with comfy pillows, what more could you ask for. One mental note for those who are light sleepers, I could hear some light traffic noise at night from the highway nearby. Just keep the tv on lol other than that, I don’t think I have a single bad thing that I could possibly say. I love this place that much! oh, I almost forgot the cute little binder on the table was such a great added touch! They really did a good job at pointing out all of the local places to stay + visit. They even provided you with websites and physical addresses for driving directions. Just a lot of really cool useful information. Contacting the host was super easy and very friendly & welcoming. Next time I’ll be sure to take advantage of the grill and fire pit. Loved the hot tub! Enjoy!
