The Rock House near Temple and USU

Spacious home with a unique fireplace mantel built with rocks from around the world. So much you can do in this home that includes garage parking, full kitchen with cooking ware and utensils, king size bed, full bath, TV room, piano, guitar, books, and games. Downstairs includes a 3/4 bath, bedroom with queen, family room with queen bed and TV. Close to USU, the LDS temple, downtown Logan, and Logan canyon. Nearby parks, Merlin Olsen and Whittier center, have fun amenities for kids and adults. Lots of great restaurants. Relax after a day at Beaver Mtn or Cherry Peak ski resorts which are just 30min away. The mountains in this area have great Mtn biking, hiking and running trails. There are miles of country roads for road biking and going for a drive. First dam, at the mouth of Logan canyon is a great place to feed ducks, kayak, fish, and have a picnic.

What a great space

it was perfect for our stay. We enjoyed the big table for playing games, the kitchen with everything we needed, and the multiple living areas and sleeping space. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing owners-great house

This worked great for our family to gather. Lots of space, close to everything, clean and comfortable. And the owners are amazing. Our daughter left a necklace and they went out of their way to get it back to us. Wonderful experience.

Comfortable and clean!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Rock House. It was the cleanest rental we’ve been to. It’s very roomy and not overloaded with what my husband calls crafty-clutter. It’s got a great location that is quiet but also near town. We would definitely stay here again.

While an older home it was immaculately clean and welcoming. Beds were VERY comfortable. John's messages were appreciated. Neighborhood was very quiet overall. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Would definitely stay again.

Logan Get-Away

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Rock House. The house has an interesting story and was actually the first long-term rental house in Logan. We will definitely return for another stay in coming years. Our hosts were very attentive to us. The location is central to the city.

Private, yet close to everything. Accommodated my family comfortably. Good communication and flexibility. Lovely yard. Especially loved the grape that grew like an awning and had a table and chairs beneath it.

Cute updated home

We enjoyed our stay at The Rock House. It was clean and exactly as listed. We were only there to sleep for 2 nights because we had a horse competition but it was nice to come home to a shower and comfortable bed. Very quiet neighborhood and not far from the fairgrounds. John was very good to work with, we would stay here again if in town.

Perfect for our group

We were in town for a wedding and we couldn't have chosen a more perfect location or place to stay. I have a family of 7, and it's often hard to find a place we all fit, but the Rock House was great. Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, but super close to just about everything in town. We loved the history left by the owner about the house. Check in/out was easy, and simple, and very reasonable. Many of these rentals require you to practically "spring clean" the house before you leave and then charge you an arm and a leg for the cleaning crew to come in after. Just a simple once over, start the DW and take out the trash and we were done. Beds were comfy and the house was sufficiently equipped. All in all, just a great stay, would highly recommend!
