“I was offered a cabin instead of a regular room. I was alone and it was a lot more than I needed, but was a very charming property which I will highly recommend!!”

“Stayed 2 nights. Bed was comfortable, parking right in front of door. With no AC, be prepared if temps are above normal, the room did not cool down until middle of the night. Bring an extra fan to bring cool air in from outside. There was an issue with no ice available one evening, but next morning there was lots. A bear was apparently in the dumpster and dragged trash out. I heard him but another tenant said she saw it. Trash was picked up that evening when we returned from the train ride.”

“The Iron Rail was a unique place to stay. The rooms are tiny, but well decorated and maintained. It was hot in the room and we slept with the windows open all night and the fan running. Thank goodness it was a rainy night, so the weather was a little cooler. The light had burned out in our room and staff was unable to change it, so it made it dark when getting dressed. There were no towels in the bathroom when we got up the next morning to shower with, but my husband found some in a closet down……

“The cottage was an excellent stay for us. Comfortable, well kept. Had everything you would need in your own home. We loved it. The host, Susie keep in touch with us, and she had a great book set up of the areas activities.”
