“We loved the Homestead Cabin! Check-in was super easy and the kitchen was well equipped with great cookware. Easy access to the Conejos for fly fishing and a playground for our granddaughter! ”

“What a beautiful home in the woods. They have everything you need. I was surprised they even have a pressure cooker. The house was clean. The communication with the manager and owner was on top. We had a problem with the water heater that was resolved immediately and we had hot water in no time. We really enjoyed our time in the property. Definitely recommend this place if you’re going to Pagosa Springs. I’ll definitely will look for this property again. Love the place. ”

“Lovely house. Beautiful view. Fabulous stay. We were 8 college dorm mates, graduated in 1976. Since we are all around 70 the bunk bed was not a good choice for us. Better suited to 4 adults & 4 children. Customer service was great and timely. Earlier and more information on the water would have been helpful. Some don't like the taste of the water. Overall we had a really wonderful stay.”

“Charming spot. New, clean and well equipped. We arrived weary from working hard and long. The stress drained away rocking on the deck with cup of coffee in hand and reading our books. The clean air, mountain views and beauty make this a choice location. The highlight of the trip was soaking in the hot tub under the sky full of stars. Highly recommend!!!”

“This is our second time at this cabin. We love the cozy cabin and fireplace, but the exterior is where we enjoy ourselves most. Porch sunsets with panoramic mountain views. Excellent property mgmt, clear and prompt communication. Thank you for another excellent holiday! ”

“The property is conveniently located to downtown Pagosa. Large lot with a lot of space to spread out (bring your binoculars), walk, relax outside or soak in the clean hot tub.The exterior of the house could use some spider web removal etc. and the weeds need to be trimmed back so driveway is easier to navigate. We spent most of our time outside which is why we rented the property on 3 acres. Sleeping pillows are nice and fluffy. Internet was functional (no problems) but cellular reception...

“My husband, kids and parents all loved our stay! The home was incredibly cozy but offered plenty of space for us to spread out. Our favorite thing about this home was the incredible views from every window. Being there in the winter and sitting by the fire while looking at the incredible scenery was heavenly! Aside from the views, the beds were comfy and the home had all of the necessities we needed for cooking. We can't wait to get back! ”

“We absolutely loved this home that had something for everyone. Our kids fished, played pool, and ping pong. When the day was over, the comfortable beds were waiting for us. The property manager was helpful and responded quickly to all of my questions. Overall a really great experience. ”

“This is our 3rd stay at “The Getaway.”It’s a wonderful place for all ages. If you need a break and place to reset from the daily grind this is the sanctuary to do so. We enjoy the quiet to read and reconnect with family on the porch over a cup of coffee or a meal at the table. Our family enjoys playing card or board games or walks down to the river. We always come home refreshed! Abby is a gracious host who provides an inviting atmosphere for all to enjoy! We look forward to returning this Fall.”
