Heaven's Hideaway- perfect getaway near the river!





Recently built, this river-access cabin is perfect for couples or small families. Heaven's Hideaway was designed to be open and roomy while feeling warm and personal at the same time. Just look at the pictures and you'll instantly be hooked!



On the outside, there is access to the river - you can hear the water from the cabin! - with plenty of yard space for relaxing or exploring nature. There is also a beautiful roomy deck with a new, modern hot tub, a gas grill and ample sitting room. The sitting area of the deck has a gas fireplace for added warmth. Too many pests at night? There is also a large screened-in porch where you can sip wine and talk for hours.



On the inside, Heaven's Hideaway is filled end to end with warm rustic touches in every room. The full kitchen (including dishwasher) has modern appliances, an apron sink, beautiful colors and an island for added counter space. The sitting area is large and roomy. The bedrooms, the loft, the bathroom - you will love every room! Rainy day? We have a game room with bunches of board games! Sit by the picture windows with some coffee and a book. Enjoy reliable internet access with newly installed Starlink.

Please take your trash with you. There is dumpster access at the Shenandoah River Outfitters (less than a mile from the property). The house manager can take them for a tip of $5 per bag, if you would prefer.



Please note: The optional firewood charge of $10/night is for firewood. If you don't think you will use the firewood or would like to bring your own, please let us know! We are more than happy to refund that to you.



Please Note: The access to the river is a shared area with neighboring properties.

Beautiful property and home, we thoroughly enjoyed the hot rob, fire pit and grill while there. The game room was fun as well for my daughter. Rooms are beautiful, comfortable beds, and very clean. The only thing we noticed was the PS2 had trouble loading but otherwise it was great!

Great Cabin near Shenandoah National Park

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin! The property is serene and quiet—perfect for relaxing and unwinding. Everything was spotless when we arrived, and the cabin was well-maintained throughout. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and grill, which made our evenings even more enjoyable. The beds were comfortable, making it easy to get a great night's sleep. Plus, the location is ideal—just a short drive to all the amenities and attractions in town. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable getaway!

Wonderful Cabin in the Shenandoah Valley

The cabin was clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. It offered lots of amenities, all of which were in working order. I would definitely recommend it for a weekend getaway!

Whimsical hideaway in the woods

My husband and I stayed for two nights on our way to pick up our daughter for college dorm move out at the end of her school year. Could not have been happier! This place made for a perfect and peaceful getaway for two in a beautiful location. The house was adorable, clean, the beds super comfy, and had everything we needed. The hot tub and gas fireplace on the deck were a perfect addition. Short drive (under a half hour) to Shenandoah National Park and Luray Caverns. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat, and probably will next time we're down there.

Cozy Cabin

The cabin was beautifully decorated, clean, and very comfortable. I was impressed with the quick responses from the owners with the questions I asked throughout my stay. The hot tub and firepit were key to enjoying a nice getaway and both were enjoyable amenities. The kitchen had the necessary items to make nice meals and the bedroom was very comfortable. The view from the screened in porch and open porch provided the privacy we were looking for during out stay. Thank you to the wonderful host.

Was a nice get away spot for our short 3 night vacation.

Place was clean and organized. Nice location. We really liked the back porch for watching the sun come up while drinking our coffee. We enjoyed using the propane grill and fire pit that are located on the deck. The hot tub was clean, and worked great, an awesome evening activity. Short 5 minute walk to the river with beautiful views. Would easily come back again. Heating and air conditioning work nicely, as it was warm during the day's and cold at night. We have no complaints.

Anniversary trip

A great stay in the Shenandoah valley

The cottage was very neat and had all the amenities that were advertised. We enjoyed the close access to Shenandoah National Park and made several trips there for hiking and sight seeing. At the cottage we enjoyed the hot tub, the fire pit, and the gas grill. An unanticipated activity was a canoe trip on the Shenandoah river. The Shenandoah River Runners are only a mile down the road, and we really enjoyed a couple of hours canoeing on the river.

Perfect Get-away

The place is off the beaten path but well worth it. Serenity surrounds you. We went to SNP to hike Old Rag Mountain and were so thankful for the hot tub at the end of the day. It was perfect. The house is clean, we ate all our meals at the there and it is equipped with all the basic pots and dishes you will need. Fireplace was awesome too. Highly recommend.

Heaven's Hideaway- a perfect getaway on the Shenandoah River!

The property was beautiful and the attention to detail was amazing. It made my wife and I want to build our own cabin based on this one. The location was serene but very close to some nice attractions in the area. My wife did get frightened by an animal when she went to grab something from the car. She couldn't identify what it was in the dark but do a bit of research on the local wildlife so that you aren't surprised like she was. Definitely would stay again.

Quick Getaway

This is a well-kept, clean and quite getaway location. It was perfect for a couple's quick escape from the daily grind. It was perfect for the two of us and presented a very welcoming and comfortable living environment. It has a great balance that makes you feel comfortable using the amenities and simply feeling at home. Relaxing and watching a sunrise/sunset from the hot tub is simply icing on the cake. April was perhaps an idea time to visit as the foliage was not fully out it provided a beautiful view of the mountains and river. Close to local attractions.

Relaxing Family Getaway

Heaven’s Hideaway was exactly what we were looking for! My family spent a few days exploring Shenandoah and the surrounding areas. Even though the weather didn’t cooperate, it was okay because we were able to spend extra time listening to the rain hit the tin roof on the back screened in porch while the kids were playing in the upstairs loft full of games and comfy chairs. We couldn’t have asked for better communication from the owners. The hot tub at night under a sky full of stars was the exclamation point. All of this was five stars…and this doesn’t even include the proximity to all of the attractions Shenandoah has to offer!

Perfect Retreat

This home is beautiful - a short walk from the river in a quiet and beautiful spot. The house is adorable, and there is so much peace in every space you look! I stayed for a writing retreat and had to drag myself away. The owner and rental manager were extremely responsive. I cannot say enough about all the little details that made my stay just fantastic. Know there is no cell signal and the WiFi power is limited. I needed to cancel a video meeting but honestly…that was kind of awesome. ;)
