I liked Transient house because it seems the best balance between all criteria - value, service... but also elevation: it is located high enuf to give great views but not too far from valley/ village. "lovely, authentic place located in beautiful nature surroundings on the top of the hill (mind there are a lot of steps to get up there, although worth it). Walkable distance (1 km ) from the Vanilla beach , were all main amenities such as ATM, shops and restaurants are available. Overall great place and definitely would recommend it."

"Lovely quiet resort right on the beachfront. The beach is very clean and clear. You are able to snorkel straight off the beach. There also is a small boat to hire. Delicious food at reasonable prices and fantastic sunsets. The accommodation is basic but clean and comfortable. Only cold water available, but not an issue in the heat. The room had a fan which was enough to keep cool at night. Lovely place. Highly recommended. "
