The lodge features a large open plan living area with Lounge/Dining area and Kitchen.

The Lounge area has 2 comfortable leather sofas. Entertainment comprises 42" TV and internet access via the lodges own private WIFI.

The kitchen is fully equipped, including Oven, microwave, fridge freezer and perhaps most importantly dishwasher and washer dryer!

There are 3 double bedrooms in the lodge. Bedroom 1 has a double bed with on suite (toilet and shower room), Bedrooms 2 & 3 each have 2 x single beds.

The lodge also has a family bathroom with toilet, bath and shower.

Located on one of the best plots at Shorefield Country Park site the lodge has its own private decking and outside garden area.

Excellent base for a family holiday
Lovely clean family friendly property, well equipped kitchen. Catered for a variety of ages and perfectly located on site for easy access to the pool and entertainment as well as access to the beach and clifftop walks. The host was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Property exceeded expectations. Well equipped, quiet, spacious and clean. Only downside was that the situation was pretty dark even when the sun came out. Many thanks, we really enjoyed our long weekend.

Property is in a quiet secluded spot in the park. Park facilities are excellent. Particularly recommend the swimming pool and the robot operated restaurant.

Great Lodge
Stayed here twice now in November. Lovely peaceful lodge the club house has been refurbished to a high standard my Husband was very pleased with all the tv screens and costa coffee surrounding area is lovely too.

Lovely accommodation
We had a lovely time at your lodge - thank you. We were very lucky with the hot September weather and the lodge was the perfect location to spend our time out of the sun. The lodge was well equipped with everything we needed (including fans) and was actually more spacious than it appeared on the photos. We would very much like to stay again when we are in the area. This was our 3rd stay in this property so I think that speaks for itself. Although a little dated is has everything you could need and everything works. We were on a cycling holiday so good place to keep bikes safely. Very quiet position on site. The communal facilities have had a uplift so all very nice

We had a wonderful time. A little disappointed when we first arrived as the outside of the chalet was covered in webs and tree debris as the chalet is next to a lot of trees. However the chalet inside was very clean and fresh snd presented beautifully with everything you could possibly need although the two twin rooms are quite dark. . Great location and site facilities were excellent. We had glorious weather and were able to enjoy all the area had to offer beaches and quaint towns and villages and very dog friendly would recommend. As a suggestion a brush and mop down of the outside would give a better first impression although I appreciate it is difficult due to the position of the chalet . We set to and gave the outside a good clean which made a great difference. Would book again.

The property was well stocked and very comfortable. It was an enjoyable stay Shorefield Park needs to improve there entertainment for teenagers, but this is not the owners fault.

Very dark dirty lodge, no natural daylight.
Other reviewers had mentioned cleanliness of the lodge. There were cobwebs over the sink, not too bad, however there was food particles on the front of the cupboard doors and on the walls. Many of the plates and cups were filthy. I put all the items we were to use in the dishwasher prior to use. I checked the metal filter in the dishwasher and there was half an inch of filthy food and fat debris, I washed this under running hot water after removing the bulk of the debris, with kitchen roll. Whilst the lodge is well stocked with items, the cupboards and draws are dirty. The ornaments left in the bathrooms haven’t seen a duster for a long time. One of the bedrooms had a dirty sock behind the bed, I left this for the cleaners to find or not as the case maybe. After the bad reviews about cleanliness I felt sure the owner would have visited and arranged a deep clean, needless to say we were disappointed. The decking outside is very bouncy in places and the furniture whilst under trees had certainly not been cleaned prior to our arrival. We would definitely go to this site again, just not this lodge.

Lovely holiday pity about the electrics and extras.
On arrival there was no electricity. Maintenance did temporary repair for evening sorted the next day. Toaster kept tripping the power so we abandoned it and used grill. Shower head in main bathroom was broken so no spray just waterfall. We coped. The heating did not work no settings. Had to use portable heaters. Instead. A dead fox near the decking so children were unable to use garden. Told reception they promised to remove but even after 5 days still there when we departed. Would suggest extra bedding be provided if needed ie blankets etc. plus a handrail other side of steps. We still managed to enjoy the week in spite of difficulties. Malcolm Harris

Lovely lodge
Lovely comfortable well equipped lodge in a very quiet area of Shorefield Park but within walking distance of the facilities. Plenty of space for a group of 5 people and 2 dogs. Parking space for 2 cars. We enjoyed the walk to the beach as well as trips into the New Forest. Staff on site were friendly and quick to resolve a power supply issue we had following a thunderstorm. Communication with the owner was easy, friendly and efficient. The decking area was quite slippery, so you do need to be quite careful. We had a lovely holiday and wouldn't hesitate to book again. Many thanks.

I’m sorry to say that this property did not live up to our expectations, the description did not mention the lodge was very close to a main away road therefore there was a constant noise of passing traffic. The lodge was in a very shaded area so there was very little light leaving it feeling very cold and dark. The outside area was dirty the decking had not been swept and the outside furniture had to be cleaned before we could use it. As for the inside it needed completely updating , and a VERY deep clean, there were cobwebs covering the main bedroom window so obviously it had not been opened to air the room out from the last occupants ( covid ). The kitchen had not had a deep clean , food still on the hanging serving spoon, oven dirty, kettle not clean , I was unable to use the dishwasher because it felt unclean due to tea and food stains on the door ledge . In the bedroom I found on leaving that the bed had not got a mattress protector on it , just a sheet. The pillows were old and shapeless . Over all it just felt unclean. No BBQ , it was supposed to have been replaced in June .

Enjoyable stay
The lodge was more spacious than expected, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin had everything we needed, a well equipped kitchen, including a dishwasher, and 3 decent sized bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, which was a great bonus. There is also a patio with furniture and a small garden with a BBQ. The site was well appointed, and the beach within walking distance. We would definitely like to return.
