Overall a great stay the only thing I would change is the smell when you first walk in other than that it was a perfect stay

2 rolls of tp for 7 adults and a child for 3 days No paper towels in kitchen No soap in kitchen No utensils or pots and pans in kitchen Curtain in one bedroom too small for the window. Tv in one bedroom but not the other. Have to walk through one bedroom to access the bathroom. No hair dryer provided. Parking lot is small but family suite includes 2 designated parking spaces. Maintenance is poor - patches with paint over them instead of fixed properly. Refrigerator is nice. Coffee maker included.

If you are looking for a wooded setting out of city noise, this lodge might be for you. There is a cute diner style restaurant with Marian’s ice cream and a cute check in and outside seating area. The pool is under renovation and the lodge building needs work. I would not recommend driving in the back of the building by the room entrances due to the very large potholes in the parking area. I was also concerned about the state of the concrete stairs and walkways. Several of the steps are cracked and move when walked on. It looks like some poor repairs have been attempted, but they are past due for replacement. This is the same for the walkways which look to have been epoxy coated without repairing the spalling concrete. The rooms are large and semi renovated, but a can of paint around the baseboards and doors would go a long way. The rooms also lack ceiling lights which makes them dark and somewhat difficult at night. I would prefer a bathroom vent fan rather than a window to the outside with plantation shutters. This window with just a screen and shutter allowed sounds of entire conversations to be heard from outside. Overall, the lodge looks nice from the outside, but it’s a bit tired and needs some TLC.
