The room was comfortable and quiet. The hotel is basic but fine for one or two nights. It’s centrally located with free parking and a nice perk was the self-serve station to make coffee drinks in the front office.

We stayed here after a day at the Santa Cruz Beach and Boardwalk. Check-in was quick and painless. The motel was full and there was still adequate parking. The A/C worked well enough. There are several food options and a convenience store within an easy walk. The Beach Hut Deli on the corner makes a mighty fine sandwich, and you can even have a beer while you wait. The only ding on this motel is that the bathroom was a bit tired. The sink was down to steel in a couple of spots and please repair the stripped spline in the shower temperature control.

Room was nice and clean, just had a bit of a smell when we came in so we had to open the windows. Wifi didn’t work. AC kept turning on and off during our 2nd night. But place was good if you’re on a budget.

Clean, affordable, simple motel in central Santa Cruz. I was in town for graduation and only needed a simple room for one night and this was perfect. The staff is helpful and friendly and it seems to be famly run which is nice. Very convenient and central.

The rooms are a decent size. The AC units are very loud. There was a kind of funky smell in the room, hard to explain exactly what it was. The soap dispenser in shower was empty and the remote didn’t work, but we were there for only one night so didn’t have a chance to get augmented.
