“We were on a cycle tour and we left our bikes locked up safely in the entrance way. Our room was very comfortable, we stayed in the Curiosities room. The hotel is in a characterful building and is thoughtfully decorated with great attention to detail. It was a shared bathroom, which we actually had to ourselves, again nicely decorated and clean. “Staff is not friendly or sympathetic towards young kids. Breakfast with flys all over cured meat and cheese - overpriced and unsanitary. Don’t eat here. We were supposed to stay 2 nights and we left after 1 VERY hot miserable night. It was so hot my kids couldn’t sleep and were dehydrated the whole night. Our smallest child was almost to the point of heat stroke. We just wanted to leave as fast as we could and have some sleep somewhere else even though we already paid for 2 nights to tell you……

“Just a one-night stay, but after one night, we wanted to stay a week. The personnel were not just helpful, they were downright AWESOME. Above and beyond.
