“We had a great stay! Tim was easy to communicate with, the house was clean, and as other guests have said - the photos don’t do it justice. The bedrooms are good sizes and we had everything we needed. My daughter appreciated the tvs with access to app subscriptions. The hot tub is huge, very relaxing. Lovely to have a fire and outside space. Being next to the stream and right by the waterfall was a great bonus. ”

“The property is unique to its era and old fashioned which in my opinion suits the IOM and i find charming.The rooms are comfortable but no daily servicing of the room, meaning I had to ask for toilet rolls and clean towels during my 4 day stay. It's location is excellent for transport for visiting the beautiful island. The staff are very pleasant , friendly and helpful.Breakfast had plenty of choice and was very good.I thought an ordinary restaurant rather than a loud pub and Asian food ……

“The room is clean and tidy. The breakfast is good with different options. The hotel is a little bit far from the ferry pier, it takes about 25 mins to walk there. If you have luggage, you'd better call a taxi, the taxi fare is reasonable anyway. ”

“There were signs of wear and tear within the building, the room with a sea view was ideally situated .there was some noise from traffic. Compared to other stays in Douglas, this hotel was very good.”

“Very clean and comfortable stay. Had a beautiful sea view from my room right on Douglas bay promenade. Breakfast was excellent in terms of variety and service. Pub next door was convenient and also served food. Easy access to horse carriage and electric railway for tourist activities and sites. Bicycle friendly with a locked garage.”

“We had a side sea view room, clean and well maintained. Great room. Breakfasts good with top class ingredients. We ate once for the evening meal. The food was pricey and quality was poor. Overall a really good hotel with great staff and exceptionally clean.”
