We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. Great location, close to everything at Windham and Hunter. The cottage was exactly as described - very clean and very comfortable. Agnes even had a fire going for us when we arrived and my daughter loved the cookies. Communication was excellent. We are looking forward to our next stay.
We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. Place was perfect and met all our needs. The cottage was lovely and cozy, truly home away from home. The host, Agnes, was kind and very helpful. Will definitely be back.
This place was perfect!
Everything was just as listed!
Very clean, well stocked and the owner was very accommodating!
We had over 2 feet of snow while there and they removed the snow so we could get to and from the mountain for skiing all days!
Very highly recommend!

Very nice and cozy cabin in the woods
We stayed there for four days and the house was amazing! It is very nice and cozy, clean, and fully stocked with necessities. We loved the wood burning stove and hanging out in the living room. It was in a great location and the drive to the mountains is a very short ride. Agnes is very nice and welcoming.
The cottage was lovely and comfortable. It is in a beautiful location on a stream. It was great proximity to Windham. The host was kind and great with communication.
Cute cottage. Very clean with new appliances. Great communication with the hosts. Close to skiing. The driveway was cleared to get out skiing early, after a night of some fresh snow. There's a wood burning stove which Agnes had started upon our arrival.
Great guest house! updated, clean and has all that you need. Comfortable beds and bedding with plenty of space. Perfect location to ski in Hunter and Windham! Hosts were lovely! Great communication and super nice! Even started the fire an hour before we arrived from skiing. The home made angel wing cookies were delicious. We will definitely be back
Two of us with dog stayed for a week in August. All was as advertised. Agnes was a great host and very responsive. The cabin is on the property of the owner's B&B, but has a separate driveway and is private. It's a short drive to Windham within easy reach of other Hudson Valley locations. Would recommend and would stay again.
We had a wonderful and relaxing long weekend here. The house is perfect for a family or group of 6 and the location was perfect... location is a short 10-15 minute drive to Tannersville and Hunter Mountain. The kids had a blast playing in the stream behind the house and we enjoyed falling asleep to the sound of the water. A rare find in the Catskills and we will certainly be back!
Home in a lovely location, close to many hikes, surrounded by nature. Many restaurants, supermarket close so you can easily access what you need. Miss having breakfast by the creek...so tranquil! Agnes was incredibly responsive when I was booking and during our stay, thank you Agnes!!
The house is on the property behind the host's Bed & Breakfast which gives you the benefit of the outdoor area of the B&B which includes a large fire pit, cushioned lounge chairs and a hammock. The property is beautiful and well maintained. There is a BBQ, outside seating downstairs (picnic table and regular table with chairs) and a wrap around deck upstairs. There are views of the mountain and the woods. There is a creek on the property which is absolutely stunning and great for hanging out and taking shallow dips. Agnes, the hostess with the mostess, is very friendly, accommodating and helpful. There is even shampoo, soap and conditioner in both showers! We stayed for three nights and wish we could have stayed longer, it was so relaxing and peaceful. The location is convenient to downtown Tannersville (which is really cute) and Windham Mountain and a swimming area with a beach (5 mins away). We will be back and highly recommend staying here.

Excellent mountain getaway in the Catskills.
Mountain Magic Cottage was awesome. We stayed there for 4 days during the Mountain Jam music festival at Hunter Mountain. The cottage is rustic but spacious and very comfortable. But the property is the real prize . It sits on a beautiful plot of land near Maplecrest, NY. Batavia Kill, a large mountain stream, runs on the property 100 feet or so from the back door of the cottage. Idyllic. Very peaceful and quiet. Agnes, the owner, lives in the B&B that is also on the property. She is wonderful. Goes the extra mile to make your stay a great experience. Always available but never underfoot. She is very helpful with recommendations from everything to restaurants in nearby Windham, NY to the best local hiking trails. This is a great place to re-charge away from the city. At night the only thing you'll hear is the rushing water of the stream in the background and in the morning the only sound is the local birds singing. As much as we enjoyed the music festival, some of the best moments of the trip were just sitting at the picnic table on the cottage's back porch in the evening while talking and soaking up the scenery. We'll definitely be back.

Cute cabin with a beautiful, wood burning pot belly stove
I stayed here over the New Year's Weekend. There were 8 of us in total that stayed for 3 nights. Unfortunately with the warm weather, we were unable to do many winter sports, so, we spent most of our time at the cabin. It was a very cozy place & Agnes was very easy to work with! The fireplace and the stream down the hill were definitely our favorites parts to the cabin. The beds in the bedrooms are extremely comfortable, too! The kitchen table to is not pictured, but it was perfect for four people. the place was very clean and the location was perfect, if the weather works. But even if you're not into winter sports, there are some great hiking trails 20 min or less away. The only issue we had was with the toilets not flushing well, but, we were thankful that there were two bathrooms with two showers. I would absolutely recommend this place for a long weekend by the slopes. :)
