"Overpriced substandard facilities. Freezing cold bedroom. Ugly architecture, dark and dingy. Dirty dark and cold bathroom. Window stained with dead bugs and dust. No heaters to compensate. Very depressing. No hot water. We were forced to to ask them to boil water and put it into buckets in order to wash ourselves by using an empty margarine container. Unheard of when we have paid £900 to be in this tacky facility worthy of a YMCA student accommodation Location of the property is very bad....

"We were a group of eight traveling from Canada to celebrate our friend’s anniversary, and our experience was nothing short of phenomenal! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make sure every detail was taken care of.
The property itself is set in the heart of the Serengeti National Park, so wildlife is all around you. We always felt safe, even as elephants and herds of zebras wandered behind our tents. The accommodations were stunning—beautifully designed, spotless, and clearly cared for with great attention to detail.
A very special thank you to our butler, Paul, who ensured we had the experience of a lifetime. The chef was equally outstanding, treating us to delicious meals each day. And of course, our incredible guides, Albert and Edi—you made our safari unforgettable and truly one of the best adventures we’ve ever had. Asante sana!!"
"We truly had one of our best travel experiences ever.
From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed with singing and dancing, which immediately made us feel special. The entire staff was incredibly friendly—more like family than hotel staff. The location itself is stunning, with breathtaking views of the Serengeti.
The resort facilities are top-notch. The tents are beautifully decorated and furnished, offering comfort while blending perfectly with the natural surroundings. We had amazing close encounters with zebras just outside our tents, and at night, we could hear lions roaring nearby—an unforgettable and thrilling experience.
Ommairi, the manager, was outstanding and ensured everything ran smoothly. Our safari guide, Steven, was fantastic—knowledgeable, friendly, and a true expert in wildlife. His open safari vehicle was especially perfect for photography, giving us clear, unobstructed views.
We were sent off with more singing and dancing, which was a lovely and emotional farewell.
The only thing we would recommend adding is a small air heater for the very cold nights and early mornings in July. Aside from that, everything was truly exceptional."
"Amazing property in the middle of the Serengeti combining luxury with nature. I was so impressed with the service here! While the property brings comfort and a luxury after a long day of safari game drives, the service is truly the standout!

"Patrick the manager at Seronera was absolutely incredible. He took care of us during our entire stay and made us feel right at home. Though our time there was very short it was truly a treasured moment and looking forward to coming back with more friends and family in the future. The lodge is convenient located just a few minutes away from the airport which was perfect since we had an early flight the next day. "
"This camp was definitely a luxury level property with beautiful, comfortable rooms and an accommodating staff. We were alone in camp for the one night we were there, but it seemed that was an anomaly since a full camp was being prepared for when we left.
The food was delicious, the sleep comfort was great the wildlife all around made the most awesome sounds. We also had many opps to experience the migration of wildebeests, zebras and antelopes throughout our drives to and from the camp.
There were just two less significant issues I might mention that could affect my staying here again sometime. One is that the camp was pretty far away from Central Serengeti, so I would have built in a second night if going there again. The second is that they have no internet which makes it difficult to communicate with travel agencies involved in our Serengeti experience. For one night that can be forgiven, but since we were without it in Central Serengeti as well, it did take its toll. I believe this issue is resolvable, even in a migration camp, as others seem to advertise this as a feature of their properties."
