“It was a very clean room with fresh fruit and snacks. It was very near Gillie pond which worked out perfectly for the triathlon there.
Very kind staff and worked out perfectly!”
“Nice place to stay. Pickle courts are layed out strange but playable. The restaurant was great one night and average the second night. Great young staff. Also, no hooks anywhere in the bathroom to hang towels or clothes… very strange.”
“Air-conditioning worked well. Microwave didn't, needed to do reset numerous times. Thought staff was going to replace it but they didn't. Pool was nice to use.”
“Beautiful old building with nice rooms. Quiet during non-event periods. Loved walking the grounds and sitting on the open air porch. Very reasonable pricing and great location. Breakfast was nothing special but did the trick.”
“Could use some refreshing. Had to ask for new towels.
Otherwise the price was right and turned out to be a peaceful and convenient stay close to Auburn and downtown Skaneateles.”
“The location is perfect. This was more like a B&B right in the heart of town. You can walk to the lake, shops and restaurants. Check in was super easy and friendly. Julie was great. The room was clean except for a towel that was stained. Not sure how it passed the clean test. Besides that the room felt somewhat damp. The AC unit filter needs to be replaced or something along those lines so it can work properly. The bed was comfortable. I would stay here again but need AC to be working properly.”
“There was a musty odor to the room. Linens on bed felt partially damp at the feet. Room was clean.
When I opened the mini fridge, it fell off the platform.”
“Absolutely disgusting hotel. It was dirty, mildewy, stained curtains that didn't shut all the way, and the water facet handles turned all the way around. It smelled like mildew so bad that it made me sick. It also had signs to warn of sex trafficking because of the clientele that stays at the hotel. I have stayed at hundreds of hotels, and this is the worst.”
