Our kids liked the extra loft space and playing shuffleboard. There is a farm and mountain facing the front of the property that is beautiful. It’s close enough to Shenandoah National Park to enjoy the hikes and get back for a soak in the hot tub. Our only critique was the main bed - both my husband and I found it to be uncomfortable (it’s very soft), but that may just be our preference. The house was perfect for our little family of 5\. Decorated well and very homey! Secluded and peaceful location but a short drive to restaurants, stores and playgrounds. The listing said it was 13mins to Shenandoah National Park however it’s about 25-30 to the actual park entrance. With that being said, it was an easy drive to get there. It was clean for the most part, but there was a lot of hair on the bathroom floors/trim and the main floor could have benefited from a good vacuuming. Luckily there was a vacuum there that I was able to do a quick sweep!
