Perfect quiet spot for a low key getaway

We wanted a quiet spot to chill for the week with our own pool and this was perfect. Lovely outdoor spaces and just the right amount of indoor room for our small family. The hosts have put a lot of thought and care into all the little details. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful

The Kabana is a wonderful retreat. Very private, nice neighborhood and very well maintained. The owner has gone to great lengths decorating this place so visitors feel comfortable and relaxed after their stay. The place is well stocked with everything you will need. The shower is to die for. I highly recommend staying here.

Sun & surf paradise.

Great kabana

From start to finish Kelen the host thought of everything. The unit was very clean and well appointed. The location was just what at we wanted and everything went well. Highly recommend this rental and who knows, we may be back again since Melbourne is one of favorite places. A hidden gem.

An absolute delight

Seldom do you rent holiday accommodation that feels like a home away from home but this one is absolutely that.Everything that you think you need, but always forget to bring, was provided and Kelen had thought of literally everything.The Kabana was exactly as described and quite honestly the pictures didn’t do it justice it was quite something.The pool and outside spaces were lovely and we used and enjoyed them nearly every day of our 4 week stay. The bikes provided were a lot of fun and the neighbourhood is entirely safe to cycle around which again we enjoyed daily.We never did get round to using the golf cart as we had rented a car for the duration, but we would probably think of using it as an alternative on our next visit as the neighbourhood is ideal for its use and it would make a huge saving financially should we decide to take advantage of its use.Kelen and Gary were lovely and we enjoyed meeting them and they were most welcoming. Their policy is to remain invisible while you are there so that you can enjoy the property as though it were your own. We did however enjoy their company when we did meet up and have come away with the feeling that we met and made a couple of firm friends that we will stay in touch with.We would definitely book again and would have no hesitation in recommending others to do so.

This place was amazing the pictures don’t do it justice and you didn’t need anything except food if you were to cook. We had access to bikes if we wanted and a golf cart which we used. I would stay there again if I was to come back down.

Wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Kelen's and Gary's "kabana." It was as advertised. They thought of all the amenities that guests would need for their stay. The place is beautifully decorated and spotless; the kitchen is well-stocked. We enjoyed meeting the sweet owners who were very communicative prior to and during our stay. They also provided suggestions on places to visit and dine at. The beaches were minutes away and had ample parking. We'll be back to visit when our travels take us back to Melbourne Beach!

Winter Escape

A private, peaceful and beautifully landscaped property that provided the winter escape we needed from cold weather. The warm, fragrant air was the first thing I noted when we parked our car in the guest spot. The Kebana was well supplied with everything we needed for our stay and within walking distance to the beach and golf course. Comfortable accommodations and spa shower. If the weather had been better we definitely would have used the outdoor grill and kitchen with a sitting area in the Florida sand. Hosts were very responsive when needed and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Spectacular Hosts

There is nothing the hosts didnt think of to make this an amazing stay. The property is beautifully dercorated and has every ammenity you could possibly need or want. The hosts live on the property and are available to answer any questions or concerns you may have. Kelen left us a welcome basket of Florida oranges to make fresh squeezed juice and cute beach themed doughnuts. Our dog was traveling with us and was very welcomed. The property is in a great location to great dinning options and is within walking distance to the beach. We will 100% stay here again if we are back in the area.

Easy Beach Access

Our family had an amazing time. If you use their golf cart you have a locals parking sticker. We were able to park at the local beach. The property is clean and beautifully landscaped/decorated. All essentials were provided, even a special towel for my dog. We couldn’t have asked for better accommodations and hope to be back, although we may try to book their larger property that holds 14 next time. Great experience, and just what our family needed!

Best vacation accommodations

What an amazing stay my granddaughter and I had! Our accommodations were spectacular, the information guide was so helpful and guided us through a lot of our stay. The Kabana was stocked with everything you can imagine needing on your vacation. Kelena has absolutely thought of everything. She even left a basket of orange to have fresh squeezed orange juice. It is located right in the middle of some amazing beaches. If you’re looking for a small town feel vacation, this is your place. The locals are incredibly friendly and will help will any of you needs.

A little secret beach just down from Whiteys Bait and tackle across from River Oaks Rd before you get to Sebastian Inlet

Everything and More

Kelena's Kabana was a wonderful and unique retreat for us while we were visiting our son. This unit was super cute, private, and stocked with everything you could imagine you might need. Gary and Kelen were so friendly and accommodating and made you feel welcome. The patio and pool area were a beautiful spacous extension of the indoors. We utilized the fire pit, outdoor kitchen and patio every day! The Kabana is very pet friendly and the patio, outdoor kitchen, firepit, and dog potty area are fenced in to keep your pet with you while you are enjoying the outdoors. A highlight of the week was being able to take the golfcart to the beach and around town. It was so convenient to get to the beach, or to watch the sunset from the Melbourne Beach Pier or Ryckman Park. We had a wonderful stay and made some great memories!

Beautiful, Relaxing and Fun!

We had a phenomenal time staying at Kelena’s Kabana! It was the perfect size for our family of 3 and beautiful inside and out. Everything was super organized and clean - and for folks who traveled in on a plane all of the extras were very much appreciated (beach towels, linens and bath towels, toiletries and kcups, beach chairs, etc)! The outdoor kitchen area is amazing. We were close to the beach and utilized the golf cart to drive there (so fun!) We hung out at the beach, the pool at the Kabana, and spent a day at the Kennedy Space Center (very much recommend)! We also ate a lot of good food - Nini’s Cuban Cuisine, Squid Lips, Little Dos, Sand on the Beach, and for breakfast we liked Sunnyside Cafe. Good ice cream at Moo’s Soft Serve. We will 100% be staying at Kelena’s Kabana again in the future!

Great Property!

My husband, , two granddaughters (ages 4 &7), two boys ( pets) and I had a wonderful stay at Kelena’s Kabana. Gary and Kelena couldn’t have been any nicer! We spent days on the beach, at the pool and drove to Orlando a couple of days to visit the parks while we visited Melbourne. The boys enjoyed evening rides on the golf cart & we loved having the use of it to go to and from the beach. It helped keep our car clean & virtually sand-free. We even got to see a rocket launch while visiting. The outdoor kitchen area was a nice place to cook and enjoy our meals & it kept the house from getting hot while preparing meals. The fire pit was a nice touch & was great for enjoying s’mores with the kids. Kelena and Gary have put so much thought into what one might need while staying there and have taken the comfort of their guests seriously. The kabana was well stocked and so organized! We very much enjoyed our stay and will certainly visit again!

Loved the feel of the space!

From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed by the hosts. The location is close to all Melborne has to offer. In preparation for our trip we packed everything we felt we needed. We should have left half of it at home. The amenities, both inside and outside, we expansive. If you think you might need something to make your trip comfortable the hosts had already thought of the item. Jayne and I travel extensively and this is the 1st location to have a juice press and of course they added a bag of Florida oranges for our use!! We did get out quite a bit and found a wonderful local brewery close by. If you are one to sample local beer make an effort to go to Intracoastal Brewing. You won't be disappointed. We were not able to take a dip in the beautiful pool available to guests due to the unseasonable temperatures but wished it had been warmer. My suit stayed packed but take yours. Thanks to the hosts for a very relaxing week!!!!!!

Perfect Beach Retreat!

Kelanas Kabana offers everything needed for a relaxing stay near Melbourne Beach. The apartment is spotlessly clean and well equipped. The hosts thought of every detail from supplies in the bathroom to spices and coffee in the kitchen. The decor is lovely and it’s obvious to see all the love and thought they put into each aspect of the Kabana. It’s very easy to get to the the beach right down the street. We enjoyed the ease of using the beach parking at the end of the street where public restrooms are available along with picnic tables and benches to sit and enjoy the view after long walks on the beach. We also utilized the beach chairs provided at the Kabana. Also, at the Kabana, there are many places to enjoy the outside spaces with an abundance of seating options in sun or shade. And, of course, the pool is beautiful with lots of seating there to relax. The hosts, Kelena and Gary are so friendly and go the extra mile to ensure we had everything we needed and yet gave us our privacy. Our stay overlapped with the recent Hurricane and they kindly invited us to stay until our flight home could be rescheduled. Luckily for us the Kabana had a few nights free! We highly recommend a stay here! Wonderful hosts and a perfect location for a beach getaway!

Picture Perfect

Kelena's Kabana was as advertised and more. From the moment you pull into the parking spot you begin to experience the outdoor paradise that they created. A curvy walkway leads you right to the gate, but before you get there you are surrounded by many different flowers and trees. When you open the gate the adventure begins. They have everything you can possibly think of for the beach. There are bicycles, outdoor shower, outdoor kitchen and many different kinds of lounge chairs to just chill out and take it all in. Next to that is the pool gate. When entering the pool gate there is a wood walkway surrounded by sand that leads you to an outdoor bar area and a crystal clear private pool including pool amenities and more lounging areas. The area around the pool is breathtaking as it is surrounded by more beautiful trees and landscaping. The inside of the Kabana was absolutely perfect for the two of us. The Kabana was up to date and meticulously cleaned. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything a kitchen should have including a brand new ice cream scoop. The bed is very comfortable and all linens and towels are supplied. The Kabana is located only a block from the beach in a quiet neighborhood. It is also next to a park and a golf course. There are several different areas at the beach that you can choose to go to which has bathrooms, covered picnic areas and large viewing areas to gaze at the stunning sunrise. You can choose to take your car or the golf cart. We stayed here for 3 weeks and tried many different restaurants and none of them disappointed us. Our favorite restaurant was Nini's Cuban Cuisine. We enjoyed breakfast at the Blueberry Muffin, Sand on the Beach and Beachside Cafe in Melbourne Beach. We ventured out to Cocoa Beach and enjoyed Squid Lips, Pig & Whistle and Sandbar Sports Grille. We also went to Palm Bay and ate at the Lazy Turtle and The Shack which is right on the river. For a more exquisite dining experience you should visit Djon's Steak and Lobster House. There is plenty to do here. I recommend Poolies if you are a true pool player. The Kabana is about 1.5 hours away from all the Disney/ Universal attractions. Overall, we consider this our best VRBO experience ever and would highly recommend Kelena's Kabana. Gary and Kelen were amazing hosts. We look forward to coming back and doing this all over again.

Your own private getaway

This place is the best! You feel like you're on your own private island with all the beautiful greenery and the sand pit!. Kelen has thought of everything! You just need to pack your swimsuit and that's it. She provides everything you could possibly need and even suggests great food options and provides you a map to get around on the golf cart, which was another great added perk. Absolutly nothing to complain about! We loved it and would recommend for everyone to stay here and will be back for another getaway! See you soon Kelen!

Peaceful and fun

We had a family of four stay for 4 nights. Highly recommend the golf cart to cruise to beach or downtown. We had a great time exploring Melbourne Beach, Cocoa Beach and even St. Augustine one day. We went to local mass, beach, played disc golf, breweries, sports bars for march madness games, etc. The house was perfect. 4 days was max for family of 4 because a little tight but if only 2 we would have stayed a week. We took advantage of outdoor space with grill and fire pit. Even make fresh squeezed OJ in the mornings. Nice spot!
