We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. Renee our host was very helpful and friendly. We had a meal and breakfast which were both excellent. The accommodation was very comfortable and the decor was a lovely change from our usual contemporary. If we get back to Melb for a Yarra Valley visit, Victoria House will be our go to.

Lot of dust. Traffic noise most of the night then from early morning. Hot water was inconsistent both mornings. Staff were made this odd comment about my friend who I was travelling with as we checked in that kinda ruined our reunion after 5 years apart with weird energy. Not pet friendly. Pet tolerant at best. Extra charges for pets but no daily service. Bed was stiff. Texts about carpets when I was trying to enjoy my day, after a night on a poor mattress with traffic noise & no way to have a morning coffee on top were unecessary & made it feel even more unfriendly. There's signs about not leaving things on and rising costs which brings the mood down again. Staying here put a dampner on my weekend away when I really needed to relax and chill somewhere nice with hospitable staff. I was so excited for this weekend and staying here just made it so much less special. I felt extremely unwelcome from the moment I checked in and was very glad to leave. Wouldn't here stay again & it really did make my weekend unpleasant completely unnecessarily.

Lovely couple that runs this joint. Thoroughly enjoyed my few nights there, the breakfast is amazing and the attention and guidance of the owners in curating day trips was spot on and superb. Hikes, food, laundry and shopping were all perfect recommendations <3

From the moment I stepped into the lobby and was made welcome to the moment I was wished a safe journey on leaving I enjoyed a very comfortable and relaxed stay. My room was large, my bed so comfortable, heaps of hot water in the shower and help with directions on my way to the next stop - all this made for a pleasant stay!

Gorgeous room interior with friendly customer service. Felt comfortable and welcomed. Rob and Renee are running it all and it’s quite impressive. Breakfast tasted lovely and the whole stay was great value for money. I’d only suggest maybe getting a high chair for the dining room. We will definitely return for future stays in the area and I recommend it to anyone.

Firstly, I would like to commend your staff for their exceptional service throughout my stay, everyone was professional, courteous, and attentive to my needs. I truly felt valued as a guest. The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable, and I appreciated the attention to detail in the amenities provided.the room was cozy and the heater was on already on having the room at a wonderful temperature on our late arrival

This a delightful boutique hotel. I had business in Chirnside the following morning, and this hotel was perfect. The rooms look just like the picture....spacious and individually decorated. The proprietor even got up early and offered me a breakfast at 6.30am for my early start, when she normally opens her breakfast service at 7am. The was greatly appreciated and was just one example of the very personal service I experienced. I could not have been happier. Thank you.

Lovely place to stay. Staff were friendly and very accommodating. Old fashioned personal service. The room was great - clean and neat, spacious with a small lounge area away from the bed. Had dinner and breakfast from the onsite restaurant - highly recommended.
