"It’s a holiday inn so you know what you’re getting. The room wasn’t so bad, nice bathrooms and not many options in that area for foreigners. My issue is they were doing construction and it wasn’t mentioned when I booked. One of the days they shut off the power while I was in the building. The first day they were repaying and messed up my brand new shoes. My wife and I had cement on our stuff. Was insanely dusty and dirty because of construction. "1st time in Beijing. Stay in GJYY Hotel because it has the great location the “Wangfujing” walking street just crossed the street. Dining and shopping around the areas. Staff are friendly, breakfast is delicious. Because the hotel is quite a bit old, the furniture needs to be replaced & room may need to get renovations. But overall it’s a nice place to stay."
