I was told by the receptionist that they had sold out of the 2 Queen rooms (that I had conformation from Expedia for). She said because I booked through a 3rd party (Expedia) there is no guarantee. I told her I'm 64 years old and this has NEVER happened with a booking from a third party. If it's a confirmed booking from Expedia, as far as I'm concerned, it's a GUARANTEED booking. We had to settle for a studio with queen bed and sofa bed which we had to make ourselves and was terribly uncomfortable! To top it off she first told me the money Expedia collected was insufficient and wanted to collect about $12+ more for the room. But later decided she would waive it. I'm furious I cannot trust a non-refundable Expedia reservation! If that's really true I wouldn't want to use it any more! Room was large with a separate sitting area and TV. Bed and pillows were comfortable and air conditioning worked well. The breakfast was convenient but didn’t have a big variety and the hot items were not even warm. Biggest complaint was there was no hot water. Tepid was about as good as it got and this was both nights. Also, no one came to clean/make up the room and we had to go to front desk for towels for our second night.
