“disappointed that found out after I booked pool was closed. Plenty of parking & room was clean with plenty of tea & biscuits.
Bed comfy but did not sleep well due to a high pitched noise outside that would have been less audible had the window closed a bit tighter.”
“The room was clean and tidy, however when we stayed last year we had bottles of water in our room but this was not the case this time, I brought my own last year but didn't this year as I thought that bottles of water would be in our room. I also requested an extra pillow as the 2 pillows I had were flat, reception made a note of this but the pillow never arrived.
Staff were all very welcoming, helpful and pleasant.

And facilities were really great and varied.
We didn’t realise so many good food options were available so we ate a quick rushed dinner near Durham station . Wish we had known about the dinner choices available at the hotel . Breakfast was really good with lots of choices. It was a shame we didn’t have time to enjoy everything on offer . Only problem for me was that the mattress was very old and saggy - this meant that I woke up……
