This was our third stay here and it didn't feel as good this time. Room was nice but would have benefited from a deep clean. Pool is great but jacuzzi was out of order and every time we collected a pool key card it didn't work and we had to traipse back to reception. Breakfast options are good, but things ran out and were slow to be replenished, only one coffee machine was working so a big queue, and our table wasn't cleared in the whole time we sat there. Location is helpful as there is parking and then various bus services into the city, or it's a nice walk along the river. Staff very friendly but alot of them were new and unsure of how to do things.

Room was dated. Curtains off hooks, dirty marks on carpet and window ledges dirty/ dusty. Most disappointing was the condition of the bed. Both my husband and I are a small build and lightweight and could feel the springs in the mattress. Also the bed was like sleeping on a trampoline if either one of us moved. The heating in the bathroom was permanently on so we had to sleep with the window door open . The Roman blind was also difficult to put down so gave up.
Staff at reception were acceptable but not overly helpful or friendly. A functional stay but would not return to this hotel. Not value for money.
